Let’s Get A Little Definition Friendly – (Chapter: [2]Exposure; The vulnerable disclosure of something secret)

I didn’t even turn the handle completley before I heard footsteps. I turned around, and luckily Ashley wasn’t at the top of the stairs yet. I opened the door quietly took a step out, turned, and shut it. You know when you’ve just woke from a terrifying nightmare, and you let that first exhale that’s filled with pure relief out? Well that’s exactly what I would’ve done, if I hadn’t saw Ashley’s mom standing in front of me digging her keys out of her designer bag. She tilted her head up at me, and turned it to the side, as if to ask "Why are you here?" I tried to signal with my eyes that I really couldn’t stay and exlain my whole "Oh, well I accidently slept with Ashley’s sister, but it’s all good because I made it out of the house now" story.

She seemed to have understood me, hopefully not understanding exactly what type of shit I’d gotten myself into, and gave me the "Okay, you may leave" look. I practically skipped around her, raced to the street, and began my walk home. I looked up at Kyla’s window while I was leaving the crime scene, she was at her window, watching me leave. I looked at her with forgiving eyes, and gave her a shrug. My guess is she didn’t take it too well, because I saw her scowl at me then walk away quickly. Scared she might have been going to get Ash, I ran the hell away from that house.

I called Glenn to come and pick me up, despite the fact that I wasn’t really that far from the house. But, he agreed to come and get me and drive me home. I saw his blue truck roll up, I had to smile, he’d been trying to be all "gangsta" ever since some girl blew him off at a club because he wasn’t a rapper. He had his hair all slicked back like he was some Gotti brother, an unmistakingly fake silver chain on, and a North Carolina basketball jersey on. "Hey" he said simply as I climbed into the truck, suprisingly it actually smelt pretty good in here.

"Where are you coming from?" he asked when I closed my door and signaled for hime to drive. "Ashley’s…" I turned my head so I was looking out of the window, I could not afford any eye contact right now. "Oh, somethin happen, you ok?" I could tell he was genuinly concerned by his tone of voice, it was nice when he got all brotherly. "Nah, it’s ok,don’t worry about it" I answered hoping he got the hint that I really did not want to discuss why I was at Ashley’s house, because I sure as hell wasn’t there for Ashley yesterday.

    1. Hmm i like how you write for Spencer…she’s not really a softy like she seems on the show. She holds her own. Anyway, both girls are in a bit of a predicament but I guess what Spencer did was worse, especially since it was with Kyla and because Ashley confessed first. I’m interested to see how this pans out for all three girls…ha and btw Kyla is being a bitch lol.
