With that Ashley ran out into the night.

The hospital was just buzzing with people when Ashley finally arrived. She quickly looked around to see if she could see her partner Harris. When she when she saw no sign of her partner she decided to go to the nurses’ station to ask for information.

"Hi my name is Detective Davies and I was called in because one of your doctors reported a rape earlier tonight," said Ashley.

"Let me check for you," said the nurse as she clicked a few keys on her keyboard.

After a couple of minutes of searching and another phone call the nurse finally said to Ashley, "The rape victim is in room five. And just for you to know detective she’s not doing well at all. She won’t let anybody touch her."

Ashley simply nodded her head to acknowledge the nurse and briskly walked in to the emergency room. Of course she’s not going to let anybody touch her for God sakes she’s just been through a rape Ashley thought to herself. As she was down halfway down the hall she heard a horrifying scream. Ashley immediately began to run towards the commotion.

"What the hell is going on?" Ashley asked as she burst into the exam room.

She quickly scanned the room and saw a male nurse covering his arm with gauze and glaring at a corner.

"She bit me while I was trying to start a central line," the nurse spat out angrily.

Ashley just sighed and said, "Let me try to calm her down before you try to perform any other procedures on her."

She slowly walked to the corner where she thought the patient was hiding and quietly moved the procedure tray that was blocking her view. What she saw quite honestly made her heart hurt. There was a small blonde woman lying in the fetal position quietly sobbing and visibly shaking.

"Hi my name is Detective Ashley Davies and I’m here to help you," Ashley said quietly while never taking her eyes off the visibly shaken woman.

The woman seems to ignore her for a couple minutes before slowly picking up her head to see who was speaking to her. When Ashley saw in those eyes not only broke her heart put a metering incredibly angry. Although she still didn’t have the details of what had happened to her those expressive blue eyes already told her that it was very bad.
