If I could only have the one I want. – (Chapter: Welcome to ventura: chapter 1)
This is my first story. be kind. but i need feedback pwease :D
The waves came crashing down as she looked out onto the Pacific Ocean. Ashley ended up buying a really nice condo on the shore of Ventura California. She had decided that she needed to keep herself busy and drinking and partying day and night wasn’t filling her, so she got a job as a lifeguard. Her station was about two miles down the beach from her condo and she jogged there for her shifts. Ashley and her supervisor, Jordan were close, they had become instant friends from the beginning, and Ashley loved it because Jordan had the biggest crush on her so she knew she could bend a lot of rules. Jordan wasn’t really a girl Ashley would go for though, granted she was beautiful, a true California girl by anyone’s standards, blonde hair to her mid back, green eyes, perfect tan, and daddy’s money to go with it all…
Jordan was spoiled but she never flaunted it, she drove a jeep, preferred a swimsuit over name brand cloths any day, and never left her house without her rainbow flip-flops and surf board. She didn’t spend money unless she needed food or absolutely had to, she was such a chill cool girl, Ashley figured they had gotten so close that she considered her more of a sister than a girlfriend, although if Jordan had it her way that’s not how it would be.
Jordan lived two houses down from Ashley but might as well just live with ash, she was always there. Although Ashley didn’t mind she got lonesome in her big condo.
Spencer was known around her school in LA as an innocent catholic girl, she didn’t date much, only on the occasion that her mom would set her up which she hated because her mom denied her sexuality and never spoke of it. The problems and fights at home never stopped and after high school Spencer couldn’t take it, the first week of summer Spencer decided to leave.
When Spencer got out she decided to just leave LA all together, she found a good waitressing job at a restaurant on the Eric Ericson beach in Ventura. She didn’t mind it, it paid the rent for her condo about two blocks from the beach, though she couldn’t do it without her roommate, which she has never really seen sober.
Spencer had quite a few friends who she didn’t really care for, I mean she didn’t really consider them “friends”, they decided her place was perfect for parties every night. For that reason Spencer avoided her house all she could, she found herself walking down the beach almost daily, writing, reading, sometimes venturing to swim.
