    things get…confusing.

    “I don’t know Spence.” Ashley was worried.  “Maybe I should make another appointment with my doctor.  These episodes are getting more frequent.”  Spencer nodded knowing that Ashley would have to return to New York for a while.  “Come with me?”  Spencer agreed and the two fell asleep in each other’s arms.

    Spencer and Ashley arrived in New York a couple days later.  Ashley didn’t have another episode but she said she wasn’t feeling “right”.  Whatever that meant made Spencer go crazy.  If something was wrong with Ashley, Spencer didn’t know how she was going to deal.

     

    Tina met them at the airport and gave them a ride to her apartment.  Ashley explained how her headaches where getting more frequent.  Tina said she’d help her get through it all, and that she was sure it was nothing.  This made Spencer feel a little better.

     

    “So what’s been going on with you?”  Ashley asked Tina.

     

    “Yeah…any hot dates lately?”  Spencer butted in.

     

    “Uh…I met this guy back at the club, we hit it off and we’re going out later.”

     

    “OOOOooOO!”  Ashley said laughing.

     

    “Wait…Tina I didn’t know you were bisexual!”  Ashley and Tina looked at Spencer with weird expressions on their faces.

     

    “Spence, you need to reboot your gaydar.”  Ashley said laughing.

     

    “Yeah Spence, I am totally hetero.”  Tina laughed.

     

    “I have no idea why I thought you were gay then…”  Spencer was so confused.  She was certain that Tina was gay.  She just left her thoughts at that when the phone rang.  Tina picked up and handed it to Ashley.  “It’s the doctor.”  Ashley moved to a different room so she could make an appointment and Tina and Spencer could continue to converse.

     

    Tina waited until Ashley was out of the room.  “I’m really worried about that girl.”  Spencer’s heart started to beat fast.

     

    “Why?”  Spencer asked concerned.

     

    “I just have a bad feeling Spence.”  Tina looked at Spencer.  They both cared deeply for Ashley. 

     

    “I think we should just take it a day at a time.”  Spencer told Tina taking her hand.

     

    “I don’t think she has that long, Spence.”  Spencer looked confused.  What was Tina talking about?  She wanted Tina to explain but Ashley came out of the room with the phone in her hand.
