“Yeah, you’re right Ky. I’ll try.” Ash mumbled.

Pulling into the complex, Kyla parked
her Lexus IS300, then turned to Ashley.

“Okay Ash. Mercedes has a girlfriend, who I haven’t met and also brought her sister. Now Selene’s brother is here too. I don’t like him at all, basically he’s an ass but he’s alright.” then Kyla turned to her. “Save me from him please?..” Ashley couldn’t help but smile.

“So that’s why you brought me along huh? Ha, okay Kyla I will try to anyway, but please don’t try and push me with anyone. Especially your friend, now I’m sure she’s cute and all that but no. Okay?”

“Deal, and! If things get to crazy we’ll go kk?” Ashley nodded, getting out of Kyla’s car.

When they reached the apartment and knocked, they could hear the music and laughing. Kyla knocked.

“Get your skanky ass up and answer your door!”

“Yeah, yeah boss I’m getting up!”

A girl a little bit shorter than Ashley answered the door. She was slim with straight, dark brown hair that fell past her shoulders. She was wearing tight jeans with a black underoath baby tee, along with a lip ring.

“Hey sexi!” she said pulling Kyla in for a hug. “And who is this other sexi girl?”

Kyla looked back at her sister. “Don’t worry Ash she calls everyone that.” then looking back at Selene. “Sel, this is my older sister, Ashley. Ashley, Selene.”

They smiled at eachother then Selene lead them into the living room where another girl sat, who was introduced as Mercedes as well as Selene’s brother, Ethan. Mercedes was taller, light brown hair and green eyes, while Ethan seemed to be the opposite of his sister, tall with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. Ashley noticed that once they walked in his eyes scanned over herself and her sister, yet he kept looking at her sister. Already she didn’t like him and was slowly planning homicide if he continued to stare the way he was, though Selene’s voice brought her out of her train of thought.

“Cede? Where’s your girl and your idiotic sister?” Ashley looked at the girl in question and saw her look toward what she assumed was the kitchen. Selene just grunted and walked into the room. Then heard a scream.

“YAY!! You brought the alkyhol!!”

She then saw Selene walk back in cups in hand followed by another girl who made Ashley gasp, her long blonde hair and clear blue eyes locked with hers. They stood their for a good ten seconds before Selene’s voice interrupted.

“Yo! You two going to sit down or should we point you toward the guest room. Cause I’ll be damned if you get your down there stuff on my sheets!”

Ashley snapped out of her trance and walked to the blonde. “Let me get that for you.”

Before she could hear the other girls response she heard a voice she never thought she would hear again.

“Ashley?”

Ashley looked up and saw the dark emerald eyes of the girl she once loved. The girl she lost.

“Vanessa?”
