Ashley’s POV

Spencer and I had been going over our lines at each others’ houses for the past 2 weeks and we had them down. We had been getting along more, something that I thought would never happen. We actually never fight anymore. She’s really cool now that I know her. But it’s kinda weird, I always catch her staring at me when I look up, and then when she ‘accidentally’ touches me, she’ll keep her hand on me for a little extra time then it would be if it was an ‘accident’, and then she always blushes when I catch her with her little stares, or when ever I look at her at all, she’s like a blush machine. I don’t know maybe she’s still not comfortable with me because of our past. She’ll probably get over it. I hope so, I really like her and I wanna be her friend.

Today after school, I’m going over to Spencer’s and Alexis is coming too so we can all go over our lines because Alexis plays my character’s sister. There’s Alexis now, I better go get her before she gets abducted by aliens or anything else that she gets paranoid about.

"Hey, Lex. You still comin’ over to Spencer’s with me?"

"Hey Ash. Yeah, I am. I still can’t believe you two are getting along so well."

"Yeah, she’s really cool."

"Yep. I can’t believe the play is next week! I’m so excited!"

"Me too!"

"Hey guys!" Spencer cheerfully said coming over to Alexis and I

"Hey Spence." I said

"You guys still coming over today to run lines?"

"Sure are! I’ll see you guys then, I gotta head to class." Alexis said

"Bye, Lex." I said

"Yeah I gotta get going, too bye Ash!" Spencer said as she gave me a hug

"What was that for?" I asked her

"I don’t know, I guess I was just really wrong about you, you’re a great person, Ashley."

"You, too Spence."

"Bye."

"See ya" What was that all about? Spencer Carlin just gave me a hug. Somethings really up, and I’m gonna find out.

Spencer’s POV

I gave her a hug. It just felt so perfect, being in her arms, even if it’s only for a second or two. I really should tell her how I feel, but what am I supposed to say ‘I’ve been completely and totally in love with you since kindergarten and that’s why I knocked over your block tower’? I should tell her soon, before she thinks I’m acting like an idiot. I’ll tell her the night of the play. I’ll surprise her at the end.
