I Could Never Forget About You – (Chapter: Is it?)

“No…not that one.” She looks down to me with such a look in her eyes I can’t explain. She’s not speaking, she’s just…staring.

                    “Oh,” She barely whispers out.

“I know, I’m sorry…just curious.” She told me she’d tell me everything soon.

I think now is soon enough.

At least for me it is.

“Well to answer your question, no I’m not.” She’s opening up, this is a good thing. So what do I do? I keep it going.

                    “So why are you—“

“Paying for it?” She takes the words right out of my mouth. Am I that predictable? Or was it just obvious that was my next question?

                    “…Yeah.”

“I don’t know. I guess I’m kind of used to it.” She sighs. I don’t understand what she means by being used to it.

                    “Used to it?”

“Yeah, I mean I’ve paid for the other ones, so might as well keep it going.” Oh god, she can’t be serious. But by the way her words were said, she’s definitely telling the truth.

“That doesn’t make sense Ash.” I know she’s serious, but that doesn’t mean it makes any sense what-so-ever.

“She’s my mother Spence, what else am I supposed to do?” She sighs. Her eyes on anything that isn’t me at the moment. I on the other hand, haven’t been able to take my eyes off of her.

“She’s hardly your mother Ash.” I remind her carefully.

                    “But she is.”

“She hasn’t spoken to you in two years, then when she decides to finally give you a call she wants money?” I say somewhat annoyed. I should probably get dressed, but I’m a little too lazy.

“Like I said, I’m used to it.” She repeats. She’s not giving me any good reason to justify what she feels like.

“You shouldn’t have to be used to it.” I reply.

    Shit.

I pissed her off already. She’s off the bed, just standing next to it.

“But I am. So can we just drop it?” She asks. Now I sense some annoyance in her voice, but maybe this is the way I’ll get something out of her.

    1. I’m with chelle I hate when they argue. but ash will talk when she’s ready. at least I hope she will. great update and wow it is rather early but hey go with it I guess!

    2. That was great. I can see why Spencer thinks that Ashley shouldn’t pay. I mean it’s not like Christine’s been a great mother let’s face it. I’m sure Ash has her reasons though however strange they may be. I still don’t think she should pay but that’s just me lol.
