I Could Never Forget About You – (Chapter: I miss you)

                    “Spencer…why are you here?”

Now I’m uncomfortable…what was looking to be an easy conversation had quickly switched to the most uncomfortable one. I have to tell her though, that’s what I came here for right?

                    “Honestly?” I ask

“Honestly.” She nods her head. It takes every thing in me not to run from her…not again. I couldn’t live with it the second time. Before I know what I’m doing, I’m going with my guy…I’m being honest.

“Okay…honestly…honestly I really wanted to see you…and I know this is sudden, okay I get that…but I just…I miss you, you know?” I’m even more nervous than I was before, which I didn’t think was possible. She’s watching me with her beautiful brown eyes, just staring at me with utmost care.

“Really?” She asks with a small smile playing on her lips…and just like that I seemed to change the route of this conversation. Something I was never very good at…I guess people really do change.

“More than you know.” I say meeting her eyes.

“I missed you too.” I could die right here right now, and be content. I know Aiden already told me she missed me, but hearing it from her? That’s what makes my heart skip a couple beats.

“Yeah?” I ask, with a cheeky grin.

“A little bit, yeah.” She tries to play it off, not very good I must say considering her smile is the biggest I’ve seen all day.

“So…does this mean…maybe…we could talk? Today preferably?” I’m shy again, it was bound to happen. The question was when. She looks ecstatic for a moment, but just as it came…its gone to a frown.

“Um…I…I can’t…it’s just…” She stammers, with every word that left her mouth my heart dropped…she just rejected me. And then it hits me, how could I have been so stupid to assume?

“Oh, right…you’re probably seeing someone…” I trail off, now I understand why Aiden was hesitant to tell me where she was. I can’t stop moving, I’m already up from the bench ready to walk away…until I fell her hand on my wrist.
