Haunting in Ohio – (Chapter: School Days)
Paula: Hurry up Spence…
She said in passing and I rolled my eyes. Who rushes their first day of school? Certainly not me as you can clearly see. I then grabbed my stunner shades from my computer desk and headed down stairs. I walked into the kitchen where my mom was making a cup coffee to go and glen was so disgustingly scarffing down his cereal. I knew I wouldn’t have time to eat a bowl so I made myself a bagel, but not before slapping Glen in the back of his ugly head. My mom caught the scene and gave me that eye.
Paula: Spencer don’t hit your brother…
She said and I laughed but nodded my head. Yea like that would happen ever. I thought as we headed out of the door.
Spencer: Shot Gun!!!
I called running the rest of the way to the car before glen even had a chance to protest.
Glen: No you don’t!!
He yelled racing after me and I swear we acted like we were twelve or something. My mom unlocked the explorer and of course glen and I battled against the door frame, me shoving him out of the way and him doing the same. I swear I’m gonna rip his head off if he makes me drop my bagel.
Spencer: Fucking move
I said and shoved him laughing, effectively getting in the passenger side, slamming the door and locking it; forcing him to take the fucking back seat. Muahahaha!!! Glen pouting took the backseat like the little girly boy he was and my mother visibly shook her head and sighed.
Paula: You two are really something.
She said chuckling and got in the car, starting it and taking off out of the drive way and down the street.
Spencer: I know Glen is…psh I admire your bravery for even having a second child…but then again that child was me so I guess you didn’t see the compromise huh?
I said and my mom rolled her eyes playfully. Glen then had to speak up.
Glen: Oh pu-lease…
He said and I flipped him off in the passenger side window. We drove for a little while longer and mom finally reached our school. She of course simply kicked us out of the car saying that our fight over the passenger side was going to make her late and took off. As Glen and I walked up to the stairs of the school some people called out his name and I wondered how the hell he even knew these people.
