    Ashley meets up with her dad.

    “Don’t be ridiculous… I coulda donated a little money, had a wing of the school named after me… you’d get in anywhere.”

    “Dad, I didn’t even graduate from high school,” she said with a laugh.

    “You didn’t?”

    “No! I left halfway through junior year. Europe… remember?”

    “You told me you graduated early!” he exclaimed.

    “Yeah, I did, didn’t I?”

    “I guess you were a bigger handful than I thought you were,” he said.

    “That’s me!”

    “How do you put up with her, Spencer?” her dad asked me with a smile.

    “She’s not so bad,” I grinned. Ashley broke out into a smile as well and kissed my cheek, allowing her hand to rest on my thigh. Her dad didn’t seem to mind the open affection, and as long as he was okay with it, I was okay with it.

    The meal went on just as relaxed as it had begun. We were all getting along but I was especially happy that Ashley and her dad were. I knew how much this meant to her. As the three of us walked out of the restaurant, we stopped when we got outside.

    “So… what do you say we all go out tonight, huh? Drinks on Dad?” he offered. Ashley looked at me, and was then joined in by her father. Apparently, my approval was needed.

    “Oh… um… why don’t the two of you go?”

    “Spence, come! Please?” Ashley asked.

    “No, really… you two should go together. I have work to do, anyway,” I insisted.

    “Are you sure?” she questioned.

    “Positive. Have fun, babe.” She smiled and leaned in, resting her forehead against mine. Her dad backed off a little, as though he was giving us some privacy. Her arms wrapped around my waist again as I rested mine on her shoulders.

    “Thanks for coming.”

    “Thanks for inviting me.”

    “Will I see you later tonight?” she asked.

    “No, I think I’m gonna stay in my dorm. I have a 9:30 tomorrow… I don’t want to wake you up.”

    “I don’t mind.”

    “All of my books are back in my dorm, though.”

    “I can’t wait until you move in,” she told me.

    “Me either,” I replied, grinning.

    “I should probably go.”

    “Yeah, probably.”

    “I love you.”

    “I love you more.”

    “Not possible,” she said, before she captured my lips in hers, leaving no room for any more arguments.

I dont think I have had to yet explain the Concept of monkeys…But im still not gonna tell you about the monkeys..BECAUSE..well I trust you..I so completely trust you…I know whatever direction you decide to go down..Ill be right there with you..Pom Pom’s and all!! Then I’ll un bind your hands and strap them to the computer keyboard and lap dance on you until you update that it was a lie. Ok. I just had to warn you of that. Just in case all this happiness was a foil. If this happiness WASN’T a foil, I now look like a complete idiot. But that’s ok, it’s my base state. I love love love love your stories, they got me off the couch. That takes some doing.

I hope he doesn’t do what Shane’s dad did in the L Word and make Ash question her relationship and ability to keep one going and therefore she ends up cheating on Spencer! Please don’t let the nasties come and ruin everything. Let everything be happy, please. Drama + my heart condition (Which is fairly good) = not a good thing. If your not careful you may casue me to pass out right here on the key board. Keep posting though, whatever you decide to do. I’ll read it anyways, no matter the consquences to my heart. =)
