Forever is Cliche – (Chapter: Move, Get Out the Way)
Paula: Spence, you dont mean that. Youre just confused. I can help–
Spencer: No, mom you cant! You dont know what I want. Hell, I barely knew before we moved here! I know now that Ashley is exactly what I want. Whether you like it or not, Im staying with her. And if you dont like it, then I cant be a part of your life anymore.
Im not really sure what happened next, but I do remember some yelling and then an intense pain on the side of my face.
Ashley: Spencer!
She ran over to me and quickly pulled me into a hug. All I remember is crying and shaking. My mom was still standing there, but she didnt matter now. It was me and Ash, and she was trying to make me feel better.
Ashley: Baby, Im so sorry. This is all my fault, I shouldnt have yelled at her, Im sorry–
Ashley is so cute when she rambles. I couldnt let her keep thinking that this was all her fault, because it wasnt. If it was anyones, it would be mine.
Spencer: Ash. Its not your fault, okay? Its mine. I shouldnt have said what I did to my mom right then. I knew it needed to be said, but it could have been nicer. So stop blaming yourself, alright?
Ashley: Okay. I love you, Spencer. You know that right.
Spencer: Yes, I do. I love you so much.
She slowly leaned in to kiss me. She sure knew how to cheer a girl up. No lie. Kissing her is like going to heaven, its just so amazing.
Our lips connected in a soft and passionate way, when I heard cheering all around. I pulled back from the kiss and looked all around me. People were everywhere: students, teachers, everyone. But the two people who stuck out in the crowd to me were Glen and Clay. They both had smiles on there faces, and tears in their eyes.
Slowly, they both made their way over to me, ingulfing me in a bear hug.
Glen: Spencer, we dont care about who you fall in love with. Youre our little sister, and we just want you to be happy.
Clay: Yeah. And if you cant stay at home, we understand. We just expect daily calls. And we’ll tell dad about this if you want, okay?
I really do love my brothers. It feels good to know that I have people on my side. Back in Ohio, I didnt have anyone. I think that everyone in the family except for my mom has realized who I am, and it just makes me so happy. Happy enough to cry… which I did.
Spener: (crying) Thanks, guy. I love you two.
Glen/Clay: We love you too.
Glen: Ashley!
Ashley: Yeah?
Glen: take care of her, yeah?
Ashley: You know it.
(A/N: psfffffff. you all thought it was Glen. What were you thinking? haha. Well, originally, it was Glen, but good ol’ LoveAsh87 guessed who it was, so I really wanted to prove them wrong. haha. BTW, youre comments crack me up. pretty much the highlight of my day. =D and to dawniekey , my other favorite person, thanks for the supportive comments!!!)
