“Spencer, are you sure you’re the daughter of Poseidon?”

“Positive. Why?”

“Because by the electrical waves going through my body every time you kiss me, let alone touch me, I would’ve thought you were the daughter of Zeus.” I laughed.

“Well I’m glad I have the effect on you.” She smiled her famous smile.

“Are you ready to go?”

“Honestly no, but my mom is home tonight, so I should probably get back.” I frowned.

“It’s okay Spence.” She pecked my lips which made my smile come back.

She took my hand and we headed to her car, she opened my door for me again and then got in on her side and we drove back to my place. When we got there we sat in silence for a minute, but it’s moments like these that I like, there’s no awkwardness when we’re silent.

“Thanks for everything tonight Ash.”

“It was my pleasure.” Did I mention I love her smile?

“Goodnight Ash.”

“Night Spence.”

She leaned it and gave me a long, passionate kiss. I pulled back and rest my forehead on hers. Then I got out of the car and walked to the door, I looked back at Ashley and smiled at her, she smiled back then drove away. I went inside, shut the door, and leaned against it, smiling to myself. I then walked toward the stairs.

“Where’ve you been Spence?”

“Gods, mom you scared me.” I laughed.

“Ha sorry honey. Who were you out with?”

“Oh, my friend Ashley.”

“I don’t know an Ashley. Why haven’t I met her before?”

“Would you like to?”

“Well of course! Can she come to dinner tomorrow night?”

“I’ll ask.”

“Okay, go get some sleep honey, you look pretty tired.”

“Same for you.” I smiled and she laughed.

“Goodnight sweet heart.”

“Night mom.”

She kissed my forehead and went to her room. I went to my room and texted Ashley.

Spencer: Hey, would you like to come to dinner tomorrow night? My mom wants to meet you.

Not even a minute later, my phone vibrates, it’s Ashley. I smiled and open my phone.

Ashley: Sure, what time?

Spencer: 7 okay?

Ashley: Sound great. See you tomorrow!

Spencer: Okay!

Wow, I just come back from a date with Ashley, and now tomorrow we have another date. Well, kind of. I mean my mom will be there and I can’t touch her, but I’ll still be with her. I shower real quick and get in my bed, I didn’t realize how tired I was. I grab my necklace Ashley gave me and held it until I feel asleep, just feeling that warmth made it feel as if she was with me.
