They got ready and went to work. They went through their normal routine up until around lunch.  Spencer was with Ashley in her artsy-styled office when there was a phone call.

“Mrs. Davies you have a phone call.”  Spencer’s assistant spoke over the intercom.

“Okay Lisa.  Thank you.”  Spencer replied.

“Actually, it’s for the other Mrs. Davies.”  Ashley looked at Spencer confused.  The blonde just shrugged her shoulders and move away from the desk as Ashley moved in her place.

“Thanks Lisa, I’ll take it in here.”  Lisa transferred the call. 

“Rock Labels this is Ashley.”

“Ashley!!”

“Kyla?  What’s going on?  It’s been a long time.  How was the Bahamas?”

“Oh it was so great.  The beach was absolutely gorgeous!! I took a ton of pictures though.  What are you doing later?  We should have dinner or lunch this weekend.  Catch up you know?  It’s been like 2 months.”

“Yeah, we’ll work something out.”  Spencer waves at Ashley.  “Spencer says hello.”

“Spencer’s with you?”

“Yeah, we’re having lunch.”

“Ooooh, let me talk to her.”

“No!  The last time you too were on the phone, it took me 2 hours to get you off.  I missed out on sex because she was too tired after she got off the phone.”  Spencer threw a french fry and hit Ashley in the nose.  The brunette just scowled but then relented by holding the phone out to the blonde.  Spencer quickly stood up, taking the phone, and practically squealing into it.

“Kyla!!!???”  Ashley scrunched up her face at the high pitch noise, and then walked back over to her food and sat back down.  She was munching on her fries while mimicking Spencer and Kyla silently.  Spencer saw her and did not find it very amusing.  But Ashley was smiling to herself.

“Excuse me Kyla, but I think you’re about to be an only child again.”  Ashley’s smile quickly dropped and her eyes widened at a very unhappy looking Spencer.  Spencer hung up the phone and then started walking slowly to where Ashley was seated.  Spencer stood directly next to Ashley and just stared into her eyes.  Before Ashley could even react, a hand same in contact with the back of her head.

“Ow!”  Her hand immediately came up to rub the spot, trying to relieve the pain.  “What’d you do that for?”

“I didn’t… that was from Kyla.”

“Technicality.”  She stopped rubbing, and just sat back pouting.  “You could have not and said you did.”

“But where’s the fun in that?”  Spencer sat down on Ashley’s lap and gave her a big loud kiss on the cheek.  “Come on… It’s Friday, lets just go home.  We don’t have anything really pressing today anyway.”

“You know I think you’re starting to take advantage of your privileges…”

“Are you complaining.”

“No… Just thought I’d point out the obvious.”  They stood up and Ashley went to her office while Spencer locked hers up.  Soon they were outside of the office, in their car, and on their way home for a relaxing weekend.
