“Ash… Where are your shoes?” Glen smiled at her as the rest of the family looked down to see that she was in fact barefoot.
“Damn it!!” Ashley whimpered as she dropped her head back in disbelief. Everyone just chuckled until they saw Paula enter the lobby.
“She’s been asking for you. Lord knows why.” Paula mumbled the last part, but Ashley still heard it. She merely rolled her eyes giving the family one last smile before she walked back into Spencer’s room.
“Hey babe… How you doin?” Ashley poor imitation of Joey Tribiani from Friends brought a chuckle from her tired looking wife.
“Not now Ash, these things are starting to hurt.” Spencer whined bringing the brunette to her side where she sat at her side.
“Where is it hurting? The contractions? Or somewhere else?”
“Well, I could use another foot massage…” Spencer smiled widely.
“Obviously you’re not in too much pain… And no. Not happening.”
“Fine, fine, fine. Just my back. You would think they would have better beds for women in labor.” Ashley chuckled as she reached a hand behind Spencer and pushed on a couple points till she got a small sigh from the blonde.
“Better?”
“Definitely. But I kind of mad at you for keeping you talent hidden away all these years. When did you learn?” Spencer winced as another contraction hit, but she needed the distraction of conversation.
“Well, I learned a bit before I met you, but my friend taught me while you were college. You remember Amy?”
“So while I was taking notes and studying my ass off, you were rubbing on some hot girls???” Spencer moved Ashley’s hand and crossed her arms.
“First of all, no girl comes close to you. And second yes. While you were being the book learner, I was learning the art of healing so that I could spring it up on you after we got married. While I was spending my life with you.” Spencer smiled and turned her head back to Ashley for a small chaste kiss.
“You’re lucky you’re cute, otherwise you would have been long gone by now.” Spencer stuck her tongue out at Ashley while the brunette mocked hurt.

I cant believe Paula! She’s going to miss out on her daughter and granddaughters life cause she’s so close minded! And pulling that stunt with Scott…not cool. I’m so glad they got through it though! And Spencer told her to leave! I really love this story, its so much more in depth about the girls and their lives together! PMS!

First of all, thanks for the long update. Secondly, this chapter had every emotion imaginable, joy of a beautiful baby girl, laughter when Spencer was squeezing Ashley’s hand, anger when Paula brought Scott into the picture, hatred just because Paula exists, and sheer happiness because Spencer & Ashley have now begun the journey of parenthood with the one they love. Excellent writing! PMS

OK FYI I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE NAME MY DAUGHTER’S NAME IS CADENCE ANNE AND I WANTED SOOO BAD TO NAME HER KENNEDY BUT WE DIDN’T AGREE SO WE ENDED UP NAMING HER CADENCE BUT DAAAAAAAAAAMN I LOVE THAT NAME SO MUCH.
