Expect the Unordinary – (Chapter: 1)

    Ashley’s POV

    High School officially sucks.

It’s long and boring; I have four classes that I have to sit an hour and a half each in.

So yeah, my brain wanders. And I’m in Spanish, I mean come on. I will never speak it fluently. Why must I sit though it then.

    ¿Por Que?

Also Middle School teachers suck. Now because of my ex teacher I am in R track Spanish. I find it pointless, so it’s the second most spoken language, do people in Mexico learn English?

    Eh, I don’t really care… I wonder what Spencer is doing…

She has been one of my closest friends since 6th grade, and well to put it lightly, I kind of like her.

It’s not an obsession though, really, it’s not….

    I’m not obsessed with her.

No, I just think about her all the time. What she’s wearing, if she had a good day, is there some possible chance she likes me.

Maybe I am a little obsessed. But I can’t be in love with her; I’m only 14 and a freshman. I just think if she had a good day, I never want to upset her, I want her to be a happy as she can possibly can be, I dream about what if we had a life together.

I can’t be in love with her, can I? It’s not possible…. Right?

I just get that tingly feeling when she walks by and smiles at me. It’s upsetting that we don’t have classes together or homeroom.

I don’t know maybe I just need to clear my head. She is only my friend and that’s all she will ever be.

So maybe I should just give up and be her friend. Besides it’s not like she feels the same way… Right?

¡Ashley!  The teacher yells snapping me out of my day dream.

¡¿Que?! I ask, and she just shakes her head and sighs continuing on her discussion with the class.

    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

My mom will kill me if I don’t pass Spanish.

“Hey, Ash. You ready to go?” I look up from my locker and see Spencer. She and two other of our friends where coming over to my house, since its Friday.
