Chapter Five Continued…

Ashley’s POV

     After a few minutes we parted and rested our foreheads together.

     "Wow.." She whispered softly, I guess she felt the spark or whatever it was in that kiss too.

     "Yeah, wow." Was all I could come up with to say. I backed away to look at her crystal blue eyes. Even the dark can’t hide the sparkle and shine in her orbs. I gently brushed some hair that had fallen in her face and tucked behind her ear.

     "You wrote that?" She asked like it was something unbelievable. I laughed lightly.

     "Yeah, I did." I told her.

     "Wow… And it’s about me?" She asked again in the same tone.

     "Yeah, it is." I say taking her hand in mine and lacing our fingers.

     "No ones ever wrote a song for me, or about me for that matter." She tells me and I smile.

     "I told you, concider yourself lucky." She smiled.

     "Yeah, I guess I am now." She said.

     "Now?" I asked.

     "Yeah, because now I have you, I’ll concider myself pretty damn well lucky." She said and I chuckled.

     "Right you are." I said jokingly making her laugh. I looked down at our hands and noticed her skin had goose bumps.

     "Cold?" She nodded her head. "Well come here." I said patting a spot in between my legs for her to sit. She smiled and released my hand scooting herself in the spot. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder. Her head leans agaisnt mine and she relaxes up agaisnt me.

     "Better?" I ask softly.

     "Much better." She says and kisses my cheek softly. I smile at her and lift my head up.

     "You missed." I tell her and she smiles at me knowing what I meant. She starts to lean in and we slowly start to close in the small distance between us. I can feel her breath pouring agaisnt my waiting lips, but all movment stops when her cell phone starts to ring. She places her forehead on mine and sighs.

     "Sorry, I have to get that, it’s probably my dad." She says taking her head off mine and answering her phone.
