Death of the girl next door – (Chapter: Chapter 1)
Babe, I almost lost you don’t ever do that to me again. I love you so much "Spence".
"What about Aiden" Ashley. I asked.
" I love him but, I am in love with you", said Ashley.
"Get out! " I shouted" Get the fuck out" Tear were streaming down both our faces as she left the room. I cried myself to sleep that night.
Two days later, the hospital released me. That Friday was Clay’s funeral. Ash was there of course. I needed her to hold me and keep the world away but, my pride refuse to let her. I closed my ears so I would not hear the need in her voice when she said my name. The hard part came when I lokked into her eyes. She could see into my soul. but this time when she looked into my eyes, I met her with the Paula, look one of utter distain. My heart was breaking into a million pieces my soul was screaming " Don’t let me go". Over the next two weekk she called multpule times I answered one of them telling her we were over, and she said that she would never give up. A month later , I got a post card from Cobo it was from Ashley saying that she would be there the whole summer ,but back in time for our senior year to start.
She got back a week before school started. She came over I told her that Ihad not changed my mind. Two weeks later I went over to her house. I heard arguing out by the pool.
" Ash you love me! I know you love me" He was pleading with her.
"Aiden get a grip you have a dick" you were just this weeks yard guy a meaningless fuck" she said Then Ash turned to see me standing there.
“Aiden, get a grip. You have a dick; you were just this week’s yard guy. A meaningless fuck!” she yelled. She then turned to see me standing there. “Spence, wait.” She grabbed my arm. “It meant nothing; you know that I love you,” she sobbed.
“Ash, you can’t even love yourself,” I said.
School had started. I changed my schedule this time because last year we made our schedule match so we could spend all day together. Senior year flew by, and I hardly saw her at all.
