    What if Ash, Spence, and Aiden were little kids?

    Where was I and why was someone shaking me?

    "Ash! Ash! Ash wake up!"

    "Hmm, what? Aiden why are you shaking me?"

    "You fell out of the tree and hit your head."

    "Oh." I remember everything now.

     Ok, so my name is Ashley Marie Davies and I am 10 years old. My best friend is Aiden Dennison and he is 11. We live in L.A. and have been neighbors all our lives. We live on a big street full of smelly old people. One day I hope-

    "Ashley, I have some great news" 

    "What mom?" I ask looking up from the diary entry I was writing.

    "Some people from Ohio are moving in next door soon."

    Ohio? Where was that? And why were they moving here?

    "Oh. More old people?"

    She couldn’t help but chuckle."No, honey. A mom, dad, daughter, and a son."

    "How old are the kids?"

    "Well I think the son was 13 and the daughter was your age."

    Really? Another kid my age on this street would be wonderful. Im not sure about the son but I hope I get along with the daughter. Better put on my tough attitude again."Whatever mom. Can I get back to writing?"

    "Ok, dinner will be ready soon." She closed my door and immediately I picked up the phone and called Aiden’s number.

    "Hello?"

    "Aiden, another kid our age is moving in next door. And her brother who is 13."

    "That’s great!"

    "I know." "Ashley, dinner." "I got to go, but i’ll ask my mom when they are moving. Bye."

    "Bye." And I hung up and ran downstairs.
