    CHP11

     

    The next day came and went and Spencer didn’t hear from Ashley.  The blonde lay alone in bed unable to sleep. Ashley had broken a promise…she had never done that before.  The worried blonde wanted to call her, but didn’t want to seem like an over-obsessive girlfriend.  Ashley had probably taken Aiden out sight-seeing and hadn’t gotten a chance to call her….or so Spencer kept telling herself.  She couldn’t help but wonder if they had stayed in and done another kind of sight-seeing.

    She didn’t trust Aiden, there was something off about him, she had sensed it the moment she met him.  It wasn’t jealousy that warped her view of him, her instincts were telling her to be wary.  Ashley was too blind to see, he wasn’t the same guy she used to know, or even worse, maybe he still was.

     

    Spencer felt so vulnerable, she had given herself to Ashley and then it seems she was cast aside in favor of this guy.  You know what? She was angry, and she didn’t care, she was going to let Ashley know exactly how she felt. 

     

    She called Ashley’s cell-phone but hung up when Ashley’s voice-mail came on.  The brunette was probably sleeping, after all it was 6 in the morning.  Spencer needed to take her frustration out.  She got up off the bed and got into her sweats and sneakers.  Time for a run.

     

    She stretched and then exited her apartment, headed toward the park.  She put her Ipod on and pressed shuffle. “Beautiful Liar” started playing.  Spencer grabbed her Ipod and immediately changed the song.  “This is not helping” she told herself.  She tried to focus on running and soon got to the park.  She did a few laps around it, and checked her watch, she still had enough time before work to go to Ashley’s apartment.

     

    Spencer jogged a further 3 blocks till she got to the building.  As she was turning the corner, she collided with two people who were about to make their way up the stairs. 

     

    “I’m sorry” Spencer said as she recovered.

     

    She looked up and saw a very drunk looking Ashley and Aiden.

     

    “Ashley? Are you drunk?” Spencer asked in shock.

I’m at the point now to say, “Spencer, find someone else who will choose you everytime and love you unconditionally!” Ashley’s a bitch and Spencer deserves better. Aiden’s an asshole…I guess they deserve one another! Great story, but it totally pissed me off… oh the drama…it hurts so good.
