Bite Me, Bloodsucker
Jake, quit messing around and come home, Quil was pleading, this time. But his attempts would be fruitless, same as all the other times.
I ignored him.
Jacob! That was Seth. I grimaced Jake? Are you there, Jake?
He's there, Quil answered for me. Good, saved me doing it. He's just being stubborn.
To hell I am, I thought, forgetting that they could hear everything. You're all being stubborn- I'm not going back to La Push!
Hey, Jake! Of course. Seth Clearwater was as cheerful as ever. Bella called.
Of course she did, I thought savagely, more to myself than them. Real worried, I'll bet.
Hell, even my thoughts were getting sarcastic.
She is, Seth answered, you know she is, Jake. She's even put off the-
I growled at him, warning him not to say the word. I'd been doing so well with tuning them out, too. Damn.
But Seth ignored me, as per usual.
-the wedding, Jake, until you come back.Despite my anger, I took an odd pleasure in this. Maybe if I never came back, she'd never marry the bloodsucker.
She will one day, Jake, but she wants you to be there, Seth said, interrupting my musing.
Let her keep hoping.
Jake-
Quil interjected, rejoining the conversation.
What, Quil?
I was bored of this now, I wished they'd phase already and get out of my head.
We all miss you.
I snorted.
Bye, Jacob.
Yeah, bye, Jake.
Funny, I mused. Sometimes, wishing did work.
Quil followed after him.Seth's voice disappeared- he'd phased.
