    The fact that she and Elly both missed Ashley was even more worrying. The whole point of this had been to make it less complicated. Instead it seemed the two girls were miserable without their company. Three wasn’t a crowd it turned out. Elly NEVER asked after Gray, but she’d asked after Ashley with a determination that had drawn admiration from Spencer.

     

    And to top it all off, Spencer had to admit to being just a little sexually frustrated. Who wouldn’t be, going to sleep in that bed. Thinking about it. Dreaming about it. Waking up drenched in sweat from your brain reliving it night after night. Ok, that was on the bottom of her list of concerns at the moment, but still, it was always there in the back of her mind.

     

    So with all of her frustration, not to mention her angst at not getting through to Ashley, Spencer cleaned the hall cupboards. Then she cleaned the kitchen cupboards, and the bathroom. She stopped to put Elly and Mr. Ruffles to bed, making sure she took an extra long time reading their story and gave them both lots of affection to make up for her grumpiness earlier. As she moved to turn off the light she heard a tap on the wall, Elly getting her attention.

     

    “Is Ashley coming over soon?” the little girl signed. “Mr. Ruffles misses her.”

     

    Spencer smiled weakly. “I hope so honey, she’s just busy with work at the moment. She’ll come by and say hi to us soon ok.” It may be a lie, but Spencer was hoping it was the truth so much she dared to give her daughter that hope too. Switching off the light, she went to find something else to clean.

     

    Two more days passed, nearly a week and a half. Spencer knew that something was very wrong. She ached with missing Ashley, and not in a sexual way. Her heart ached and she missed the presence of the brunette in her life. She missed her hanging around the kitchen while Spencer cooked dinner. Missed watching her swing Elly around the living room, playing and laughing. She missed everything, and the aching wouldn’t stop. Elly was missing her too, although she’d stopped asking so much after her. That worried Spencer even more. Elly never asked after Gray, and while Spencer tried to make up for her ex-husbands lack of fathering skills, she knew Elly felt a little abandoned. Now she was feeling it again. That wasn’t Ashley’s fault, god knew, it was Spencer’s if anyone’s but still… it made her worry. She tried Ashley’s cell again. Turned off. For days.

I know he admitted that Spencer was right about their marriage but, i’m worried he might try to fix things. Even though he’s still acting like a loser. Please post more when you can. And I love the smut stuff but, i love your Elly filled chapters,too. This whole story is the best.

    3. Dammit don’t leave me on a cliff!!! I wanna know whats wrong!…please?! Ugh, alright I’ll put my frustrations towards screaming into a pillow. YAY at least there was an update! But you do know your killing me with this cliff right? I mean torture would seem like a sight of mercy right now compared to this. Alright well I’m looking forward to finding out what has added to Ashley’s depressed state.

I want to know what’s up with Ashley, I want Spencer to fix it, I want them to be happy, maybe buy a pet together, share stories around a camp fire, exchange keys, maybe eventually move in together, make their own army of Spashley babies to compete in numerous sporting events against the Cloobers, whilst also being leaders of a large vigilante movement that aims to rid the world of neanderthals like Bush. So many things I want, in so little time. To be fair though, I’d settle for another great post from you, and an extension on my coursework at uni! C’mon, make me happy ;-)

This seems more realistic, especially when the girls get what they want, then decide to try and suppress it. Maybe Ash isn’t crushed about their decision…maybe there is something else going on…but I can imagine being crushed by having it all, then having to back away from your bliss. Hurry up and get Spencer divorced! You certainly convey the pleasure and the pain of love. This story is great. PMS!!
