Beautiful Diaster
Alice and my majors were Art and Music. So we have our first class together along with Jasper since he was minoring in Art and Music to be in some of the same classes as Alice. After class was over Alice, Jasper, and I were walking to our next class talking about our previous class.
"That was a pretty good class…you know, for a music class." Jasper commented.
"It was a pretty good class. The teacher really cares about art and music. Its not just a job to her, and that's how it should be" I replied.
Alice looked over "I know! she was such a great-"
All of a sudden a girl came around the corner and crashed into us, naturally, we knocked her down and sent her books flying. She had a small figure, she had spanish features, with long brown hair that was curled. Overall she was probably the most beautiful human girl I've seen, besides Bella. She got up to her knees and tried to gather her books and apologized. Alice and I bent down to the ground and helped her gather her books while Jasper stood there and watched.
"Hey. It's okay. We should pay more attention to where we're going." I handed her the last book and our hands touched for a second. There was something different about this girl. I didn't know what but…something. She seemed to notice too, because she pulled her hand away from me quickly.
We all stood up and she and I just stared at each other for a while. I had to hear what was going on inside her head, so I listened. Nothing. Could she be a mental shield, like Bella? I tried harder. Still nothing.
"Im Alice, by the way." Alice said to stop the awkward silence.
"Hi, I'm Nina. I-I wish I could stay and talk but I really gotta go. It was nice to meet you though…well i mean, i wasn't nice to run into you like that, but you know what I mean right?" Nina said while she was backing away.
"Yeah" Alice said a little bit confused. After Nina left Jasper looked down at her and replied "Alice, she's different. I couldn't get any emotions from her. I should have felt her anxiety coming around the corner, but I didn't. I tried to turn her mood, but I couldn't."
