AM I YOUR FIRST OR YOUR FOEVER? – (Chapter: TOO SOON….. BECOMES TO LATE…maybe)

I stand up from the ground looking at her. I walk up to her and touch her arm, she jumps at my hand as if I was a stranger, I back away "Please Spencer, no it was my entire fault, please it’s ok. You didn’t do anything wrong I promise" I expressed trying to sooth her rant, but she doesn’t listen

I flop on to the bed discombobulated .My head is starting to hurt and I’m pissed that this is possibly happening, As I stop so does Spencer with her hand on the door knob and the whole room falls quite, she starts to cry, I stand up an face her toward me, she lays her head on my shoulder and cry’s her confusion out on my shoulder leaving it damp when she pulls away.

I look at her with soo much care in my eyes, I whispered “Spencer I-" I’m cut off by the ringing of her cell phone.

She moves from me and finds the phone hidden under the bed; it must have fallen, Sometime doing the day or night, wait night? Was it really 11pm how? Where did time go? I see Spencer answer the phone a frown falls a pond her once sad face.

"Hello mom. But I know… Mom….I’m sorry…. I lost track of the time… Please mom I know you’re worried…. It was an accident… Eleven… I’m on my way to the house; I’m just three houses down the street, UGH! Ok mom" Spencer says sounding irritated and upset with her mom’s yelling.

SONG IN THE BACKGROUND SHE HAS NO TIME  BY KEANE
You think your days are uneventful
And no one ever thinks about you
    She goes her own way
    She goes her own way
You think your days are ordinary
And no one ever thinks about you
    But we’re all the same

And she can hardly breathe without you–
    keane

She hangs up the phone and looks at me with so many emotions running though her face, and in her eyes, I knew she had to leave, I guess I was expecting her to say something, anything at all, but she didn’t and instead she heads towards the door and opens it and walks out, I follow and she stops on the balcony, she begins to take the first step on the stairs to the backyard.

I knew I couldn’t let it end, like this, so I grab her hand and pulled her towards me, as the clouds let out its rain on us. I look up because I knew god was crying at this moment because I hurt one of his Angels. I saw her tears fall from her face and the redness in her eyes.

I spoke the only words I could utter in my despair state of mind "please don’t do this, don’t leave" I look down inadequate at this moment, because I hurt her, because she’s crying, and I can’t do anything to make it better.

She lets go of my wet grip from the rain surrounding my palms, and looks pass me she won’t catch my gaze "This isn’t right. I can’t do this, not like this" as she shakes her head and runs off into the dark…….

As I stand there and watch her disappear, unable to move.

SONGS STILL PLAYS TILL THE END with Ash left alone

    Think about the lonely people
Then think about the day she found you
    Or lie to yourself
And see it all dissolve around you
She says she has no time
    For you now
She says she has no time
    For you now
She says she has no time
    — she has no time by

Ashley’s Voice Over, while she watches Spencer Run off in to the rain..

Do you know that feeling, in the back of your head that tells you everything will be alright? And for some reason your heart and head are never on the same page until that last moment, when everything you’ve ever wanted walks out the door. And there gone forever. But what if you knew what your heart and head wanted at the same time. And your forever still walks away? What choice does your heart or head tell you now?

Douglas Adam once wrote: ‘He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream, and he sometimes wondered whose it was, and whether they were enjoying it.”
