A Typical Teenage Mind – (Chapter: Twelve)

I wasn’t listening to the music however, I only have one thing on my mind. I’m actually creeping myself out thinking of how many different ways I can do different things to her in different locations. But then my mind will wander to how many things I will do for her. Buy her nice gifts, treat her to dinner, hold her hand on spur of the moments if I could. See, you may not believe it but I’m the best fucking girlfriend in the world. And I’m the relationship type. But only for one person. I may have slept around a bit whilst waiting for Spencer, but only a bit. I’m not a ‘get a new girl, get some, get gone’ kinda girl. Not at all.

My mum and Dad never cared about me, true. Everyone at school hated me because of Madison. True. I got pregnant at a young age and when I lost it I pushed everyone away. True. But none of that has fucked me up, even though people seem to get the impression that I am. I’m just your normal teenage girl that’s had bad luck.

    I got over it.

I have a loving sister, an amazing girlfriend, a nice home, a nice car, money and a life. I have everything I could ever want. When I shift a bit I feel the hard lump in my pocket. Spencer’s gift. I smile, I hope she likes it. I feel this shadow loomed over me. I slowly open my relaxed eyes and remove a bud from my ear. I frown at the sight before me as she comes to sit beside me at my tree. Our tree. Mine and Spencer’s tree. I frown even more.

“Hey Ash.” Why does she call me Ash? “How are you doing?”

“Uh… Lisa right?” She nods. “I’m good thanks. You been finding your way around ok?”

“Still getting there. So you got a free lesson too?”

    I smirk. “Sure.”

“That’s cool. So I saw you sitting with the cheer bit- squad. Sorry about calling them.”

“Yeah, well like I said only two of them are ok.”

“What, the two new girls that don’t dare speak?” She laughs at her own ‘wit’. Wait, there’s new girls? “Cause it’s not the captain. The captain’s always a bitch.” What the?
