Chapter 11

It has been two weeks since Spencer had been raped.  Fourteen days of crying, of thinking she was worthless, fourteen days waking up in the middle of the night screaming. fourteen days of remembering what happen in her mind over and over again.  The day after the incident Aiden was arrested only to be released on bail two after, when you father is one of the most powerful men in LA you can get away with anything.  Although Aiden was out he was still not allowed to go back to school.  He was told that he could be home school and the school would provide a tutor for him or he could simply dropped out and continue his high school career at another school, he choose the second choice, after hearing if stayed at King he would not be able to continue to play basket ball. It has been two weeks since both girls have not been in school.  Spencer could not handle been in school, she knew that by now if not all at least half of King High already knew about what happen.  Ashley was another case she knew that she needed to be in school, but she couldn’t leave Spencer not like this.  She couldn’t go to school knowing that Spencer was at home, she knew that she had to keep the promise that she had made to Spencer, she needed to be there for her and if that meant missing school then she would miss school, but that notion flew out the window when both her and Spencer’s parents and Spencer herself decided that Ashley needed to go back to school.  That is why now she found herself in her car in front of King High.

Ashley sat in her car in the parking lot of King; she has been sitting thinking the fact that she had to leave Spencer alone.  She sat in the car for a few minutes and closed her eyes replaying the conversation which caused her to be at school.  It was Saturday night and Ashley and Spencer were lying on the couch watching TV.  Spencer’s had her head on Ashley’s shoulder and looked smile.  She loved days like these, days like these things seem normal, days likes these she never remember when she forgot even for a minute what happened.  Days when it was only her and Ashley and their love.  Ashley looked down on her and returns the smile, Spencer then lean in and gave her a kiss.  After the kiss ended Spencer gave Ashley another smile, a true Spencer Carlin smile.  Ashley hadn’t seen that smile in weeks.  She then joined their lips back together, the kiss soon ended as the girls heard a knock on the Carlin’s front door.  Both girls sat up on the couch as Spencer’s father went to open the door, to their surprise they saw Ashley’s parents walked in and caused both girls to stand up.
