“Dessert? What’s for dessert?” Ashley asks with curiosity

“How does a Spencer sundae sound?” Spencer asks seductively

Ashley visibly gulps and stutters, “Um..ahh…that sounds more than good. Hurry up or we might start with dessert.”

Spencer giggles and goes back to the task at hand.

Later that night, freshly showered and safely tucked in bed naked the girls held each other in a comfortable silence. Their love making earlier that night was slow, tender and at the same time playful. Ashley really loved the whole Spencer sundae experience.

As Spencer was rubbing lazy circles on Ashley’s abs she asks playfully, “So did you like your dinner?”

“Yeah but not as much as dessert.” Ashley grins

Spencer chuckles softly and says, “I’m glad.”

After a few more moments of silence Spencer asks seriously, “Ash, can I ask you something?”

Hearing her tone Ashley says concerned, “Sure anything.”

“Umm, how do you know that I’m the one for you? Do you ever wonder if there is someone out there that might be better?” Spencer asks nervously

Ashley frowns and says firmly, “I know you’re the only one for me because you fill my life with such an indescribable joy and love. You make me want to be better. I feel you love me for me and that you’ll always be there for me no matter what. You make me whole. I can’t live without you. As far as wondering about being with someone else the answer is no. Since I laid my eyes on you in high school I knew you were the one.”

“Yeah, but…”Spencer start to say but Ashley cuts her off

“Where is this coming from? Are you having second thoughts about us?” Ashley asks scared

Spencer immediately says, “No, no, of course not. It’s just that Nikki and I were talking and….”

Ashley doesn’t let her finish when she says, “Stop right there. Nikki is the one sticking doubts in your head? I’m going to fire her.”

“Ash, calm down. We were just talking and I was telling her a little bit about our relationship and she asked some questions that got me thinking. That’s all” Spencer says quietly

“I don’t have any doubts about us. I never have. As far as Nikki goes I think she’s doing this on purpose. I think she likes you.” Ashley says frowning

Spencer giggles softly and says, “I really doubt that. If she was interested in anyone it would be you. At least she kind of gave me that impression. She kind of made me feel I wasn’t good enough for you and that I was only with you because of your fame and money.”

“I’ll kill her. Ex-seal or not I’m going to kill her.” Ashley shrieks

“Calm down baby. She was just asking probing questions I guess. No need to kill or fire her.”

“The hell there isn’t” Ashley snaps

“Ash, please. She hasn’t really done anything to warrant her getting fired. Besides I don’t want to start off with another bodyguard. I like her and I’m comfortable with her.”

“But Spencer…”Ashley starts to say but is cut off by Spencer

“Forget I mentioned it, okay. Please.” Spencer pleaded

Ashley sighed and hugged Spencer tighter to her and whispered in her ear, “Okay, we’ll drop it for now. But if she says any other stupid things to you, you are to tell me immediately.”

Spencer nods her head and drifts off to sleep. Ashley’s sleep didn’t come for a long time. She kept thinking about the days events and her interaction with Nikki. Something didn’t feel right.

At Nikki’s apartment.

As she was getting for bed her cell phone went off. She went to it and answered it.

“Hey…I’m working on it…..Damn it this takes time…….I know, I know you want it done fast but sometimes things can’t be helped……Look, it’ll happen so calm the fuck down…..Help me out then……You know what you have to do………..Yeah, yeah….okay…bye.”

As soon as she hung up her phone she started to rub her temples. She was going to go through with the plan to a certain extent. She was going to split them up but not kill her. She couldn’t. Killing her would kill Spencer at the same time and she couldn’t hurt her like that. She was already in love with her.

She couldn’t help let out a bitter laugh when she thought of her benefactor and this whole situation. If he knew she changed their plan he’d have a fit. Oh well, Travis Roberts will have to settle for what he gets.
