“well good morning to you too…” I said to her
“sorry if I’m not feeling very perky today…” she responded sarcastically
“ok…well let me cheer you up…” I offered
“I don’t need any secret meetings in the bathroom, your car or my car today ash…” she told me
“ok…I didn’t mean that…” I told her
“then what did you mean? Because you look like you have something you want to say…”
“what’s that supposed to mean?” I asked her
“well…even if I tell you not to say it you’re going to say it anyways so just tell me what you were going to say…” she said
“ok fine…I’m sorry, and I wish I had a less cliché word to say to you other than I’m sorry, but that’s all I can come up with…”
“is that it?” she asked
“wow…ok um…look, my mom’s out of town this weekend, and Kyla has a volleyball tournament in like Santa Barbara…”
“so what’s that have to do with me?” she asked leaning against her locker facing me
“ok…come over this weekend…just you and me with no interruptions…I mean I will turn my phone off and we can…
“Ashley…” she started
“no…we don’t have to do anything like that…we can just be best friends for the weekend…or maybe a little more…”
“a little more like how?” she asked
“like cuddling…a few kisses here or there…” I said in a quiet voice so no one could hear “…look think about it ok?”
“fine…I’ll think about it…” she said “…but I have to get to class…”
“ok…and Spencer…”
“I told you I’ll think about it!” she said laughing a little and I laughed too as we both walked in opposite directions…
I was sitting in class and all I could think about was how badly I wanted Spencer over this weekend, so I pulled my phone out and texted her

[still thinking…]
[possible yes?] I texted back
[Ashley…aren’t u in class?] she texted
[class is overrated…what r u doin in ur free period?]
[homework…I duno y?]
[wana go get lunch?]

is it just me or does aiden always seem to get in the one and lack the ability to realize when someone’s not really into him??? anyways, as always i completely loved your update and i can’t wait for another one! preferably ASAP!!! :)
i feel sorry for spencer cuz she’s sort of being played by ash but i get that ash remembers a life with her.
