Opening the front door she found Ashley waiting right by her car. She took one look at the brunette and felt her heart plummet. She looked exquisite.
Ashley: Ready?
Ashley flashed her usual devilish smile.
Spencer: Are you kidding me? I’ve been ready all week.
Spencer opened the passenger side door of Ashley’s Porsche and slid in. Ashley’s eyes never left Spencer.
Ashley: You look really great.
Spencer could feel her face flush.
Spencer: Thanks.
Ashley: You’re welcome.
Spencer wanted to tell Ashley how good she looked as well but wasn’t sure she could get the words out. Instead she tilted her head back and starred at the stars through the top of the convertible and Ashley drove. The air was warm and stilled smell of summer. Spencer felt as light as a feather and thought that at any moment the breeze would lift her right out of her seat. That was until she felt Ashley’s hand reach for her own. Spencer looked down and saw the girls palm face up on her own leg and didn’t hesitate before placing her own hand inside. This felt right. Ashley turned and smiled at her.
Ashley: Thank you for asking me to be your date tonight.
Spencer: Thank you for accepting.
Ashley: I was thinking, when this is over tonight, maybe we could relax and have some wine on my terrace.
Spencer: You mean like be on the same terrace at the same time?
Spencer’s voice was dripping with sarcasm.
Ashley gave her a playful smack on the thigh.
Ashley: Smart Ass.
Spencer: I would love that. On one condition.
Ashley: What’s that?
Spencer: You sing for me again.
Ashley nodded
Ashley: I told you, anytime.
The rest of the car ride was spent in silence. And not the awkward kind either. It was the kind of silence where nothing needed to be said. Where words don’t matter and silence speaks volumes. Both women were truly content. After only a few minutes they arrived at the gallery. The main parking lot was already full which made Spencer very happy. This had to mean good news for Chelsea. After a few trips around the lot Ashley found a spot around back. She leaned over to remove her keys from the ignition when Spencer caught her hand.

Its about damn time they kissed!! =) Ok so what’s the deal with Chels all of a sudden changing her mind with Spence and Ash? I just hope no one gives our girls a hard time when they see them together at the gallery. Great job as always and PMS!

aww they finally kissed!! and no kiddy man. what’s chelsea.s deal? earlier she was okay with the idea of Ashley and Spencer, and now it.s like she is against it. hmm now it really has got me thinking bout who she is talking on the phone with. post the next chapter soon!! I am goin insaners wanting to see what happens at the gallery. n I also hope that they don’t get crap from other people.. n a part of me is thinkin that danny shows up unexpectedly.. hmm haha I love this story!
Dude wadafuxup with Chelsea? lol I’m so happy they shared their first kiss hope there’s another with a whine glass in hand. I don’t know what to do with myself i need an update now!!! lol
i have a feeling chelsea and danny are going to surprise spencer and if that is true and chelsea knew ash and spence were on a date now she really should have warned spencer pms
Awww, that was sweet. Hey and about that whole Ashley quitting smoking, Are you being sarcastic with me? Because I doubt that there will be a chapter 37. It was just a suggestion, but I guess it’s not gonna happen. Anyways… I’m really liking this story. PMASAP

awww yay. spencer is falling for ash. theyre so flippin cute together. i have a really bad feeling tho that danny is gonna be inside that art show. :( i hope not tho. um..also, oh crazy nc17 chapters, eh?? i definitely will be looking forward to those haha.

Hope you had a great time at your wedding. I’m sure you looked beautiful… I’m seeing a long string of pearls dangling in just the right places….but I digress. This was quite the update! I love how Spencer fusses to get ready, such an adorable touch. I think we all remember how that feels. And I LOVE that your Ashley is so strong and sure of herself in ways that Spencer isn’t and yet Spencer is understanding and patient to temper Ashley’s at times overpowering flare. They make a beautiful pair… can’t wait to see how they deal with the drama that is yet to come. I think it was fairly obvious that Chelsea must have agreed to help surprise Spencer so that Danny could show up unannounced… but that seems too obvious for that to be the only surprise in the next post… you must have something else up your sleeve. Wouldn’t I love to find out what that is. Double meaning intended? Draw your on conclusions…
