    The night continue.

    Chapter 18

    Tina got up from the chair and started to walk paced in the living room. She was angry, hurt and confused.

    Bette just sat there, looking at her knowing regretting her last statement. But she wanted to be honest with Tina. Not lying just to make everything feel better. She had done a lot of that in the past, and it had never leaded to any good. She wanted Tina to say something, but was afraid to say something that would make the situation worse.

    Tina finally stopped her pacing and looked at Bette.

    “So, let me see if I have got this right. No matter if you are in a relationship or seeing someone you will go back to her if she asks you?”

    “You will sacrifice every chance of having love and happiness in your life for her?

     “You are willing to live a life in misery, just because you can`t say no to her?” Tina said with anger in her voice.

    “Tina, I… “

    “You know what?” Tina asked overhearing Bette.  

    “I won’t let you. I won`t let you ruin what we may have together, just because you can`t say the word no. I won`t let you give up the chance you have to be happy. I won`t let you turn your back on this, just because you have a bad history with someone. I have had my share of bad relationship too, believe me. But you can`t let the past ruin your future.

    I feel a deep connection with you Bette. And I know you feel it too. It`s somthing I have never experience before. I think it`s called love. And I will fight for you and for us.    And I can say the word no. And I am saying it to you now. NO, you are not going to give us up. NO, you are not going to give in to her.

    But if you don’t feel what I am feeling about us, that`s ok. I will respect and understand that, but I will still not let you give in to her, just because you can`t say no. I already care a lot about you, and all I want is for you to be happy, and I know by how your mood changed to night, that you will not be happy with her. “Tina finished, still standing looking directly at Bette.

    4. Oh my, this gets more interesting as each chapter comes. Whoever the asshole is that is beating up Shane they need to go to the police about it and not try to take that person on themselves. My money is on Tina and Bette to fight off the asshole ex-girlfriend. And I hope it is jodi and we can see Tina kick her mean little behind right out of Bette’s life. Great updsate.     11. Hi LA, Good that Bette and Tina talked things through. Now they know where they stand and how much they are prepared to do to stay together. The future might be tought but they are in it together. Shane is in a sorry shame and more mysterious. I do get the feeling that there is much to come from this thread.
