Tina: So where are all these questions coming from anyway?
Just then that oven timer rings.
Tina: Let’s get dinner on the table and talk over dinner.
Chapter 4
Angelica sets the table in the dining room as her mothers bring out the lasagna, dinner rolls, drink and of course the famous PB salad.
Bette: Let eat.
They prepare their plates and begin talking again as they eat.
Angelica: I thought it would be nice to sit at the fancy table for a change.
They were like the normal busy family that often their meals were on the run or maybe just two of the three would sit together at the kitchen counter and have a quick meal together.
Tina: This is nice. I love it when we stay home together on family days. It’s nice to do things together outside. But I just love hanging out with my two favorite gals.
Bette: Me too.
Angelica: I do too. You two are pretty cool when it comes to parents. All my friends think that you’re cool. They’re a little afraid of Momma B at times.
Bette: Good.
Angelica: Why good?
Bette: Because I’m protective of whom and what I love. Cross the line and they have me to deal with.
Tina: True. She’s a momma bear alright. But I love me some momma bear. I don’t mind it so much when your protective of Angelica.
Angelica: But you don’t like it when she’s protective of you?
Tina: Protective is one thing but over protective is another. It nice to know that someone has your back. And Bette has had my back. There have been a few moments where she was being over protective and she wanted to fight my battles for me. And I can do that for myself. We had learn to respect that we handle some things differently. Your Momma B has always had a very strong alpha female personally. She has a great sense of justice.
Bette: I just think people should do what they say they are going to do or just shut up. They shouldn’t be surprised if someone calls they out on their mess.

This was a wonderful portrayal of a family. It is nice to see parents and children so open to each others feelings.
Great story. Thank you. Loved it.
K, what can I say? I was cleaning up some old messages the other day, and who’d believe only 7 months ago you were just beginning to write FF huh? You did an awesome job with this story, and I do hope to see something from you soon!

HEHe no presure just thinking out loud. loved the story., and how they explained things to their daughter. thank you see you soon
Journey you did a wonderful job with the story. Really enjoyed it and hope you come back to us with another. Thanks for sharing it with us.
BnTinmyhead I just couldn’t think of more questions that Angelica could ask that really would be appropriate for her to ask. Even though I know a teenage is bound to ask anything. When my children were teenagers they were bound to ask me anything. I liked they we had open communication like that. But some times their questions I was still hesitant to answer. I think I lied only once. :) Yeah only once. I believe that open communication starts when they are very young. You can’t wait until they are teens and expect them to talk to you. When I think of another angle I do another fill in the gaps story. First I have to think of a good gap to fill in. :)
Thank You. I enjoyed the talk over dinner and the affection that they show to one another, not that they just love each other, but the fact that the like and respect each other.
