Chapter 27

Ashley had successfully convinced Alice and Dana that she’d be okay alone, and they left. Ashley and Spencer had ransacked the house trying to find something to eat, but the only things they had on hand were Hot Pockets and left over Thai from last nights take out.

“I can’t believe you don’t have any food in the house.”

“My mom doesn’t cook.”

“Oh that’s odd, my mom loves to cook; she’s in there continuously. Just this morning she made me heart shaped pancakes.”

“Uh huh. Well my mom doesn’t have the time. She puts in a lot of hours with all the galleries. And tell you the truth; I’m not sure if I want to sample my mom’s cooking. She tried to make me a birthday cake when I turned 14, and let me tell you something. Our house smelt like burnt sugar for weeks.”

Spencer chuckled. It was a complete paradox to her life. Her mother made her treats like cakes and other sweets just for the hell of it. It was pretty clear that when Bette and her mother where together, her mom was the “wife”. The thought of her mother made her question what the hell was going on though. Here it was almost 11:30 and she still wasn’t here. It was unlike her mother to late, or stay out till God knows when.

“Ashley, where do you think they are?”

“I have no clue, but I don’t think they are yelling at each other.”

“Oh I know, did you see that kiss?”

“Oh honey, that’s just the Porter charm.”

“Uh huh.”

Spencer rolled her eyes.

“What you don’t think it’s not there?”

“No.”

“Ok.”

Ashley took a step forward. She was directly in front of Spencer. She bent into to Spencer neck and let her hot breath release on Spencer’s neck. She traveled up further from her neck to her jaw line, and let it travel further up to Spencer’s ear.

“And I’m not even a true Porter.”

She whispered causing Spencer to form goose bumps the size of golf balls where Ashley had just made contact with. She release the breath that she’d been holding when Ashley back away. Ashley went back over and pretended to be completely interested in her Thai when in actually the burning desire inside her was begging for more. Across the room Spencer thought she was going to faint. She rolled her eyes in the back of her head to try to compose herself. The composition was futile though. She look up at the ceiling knowing that what she was feeling was wrong. There was a good chance that Ashley could end up being her sister and that was just beyond wrong. She looked back down from the ceiling and look at Ashley whose eyes had met her. With the drop of a dime Ashley was across the room planting her lips to Spencer’s. Spencer moaned as she snaked her hands around to pull Ashley closer to her. Before she knew it she was being lifted on top of the counter top and looking down at Ashley. She pulled away and looked into Ashley eyes. She connected their lips again when all of a sudden the door opened.

“Spenashley!”

Bette and Tina said at the same time causing what sounded like a combination of there names. They immediately retracted and stared at their obviously ’just fucked’ mothers.
