Chapter Five: Beautiful Problem

Tina pulled back to see Bette’s head nodding slightly. Bette was in a trance and she couldn’t do anything about it but to succumb to the power that is Tina. The blonde smiles another wicked smile; before she moved in closer than she ever did before to allow her lips to hover over Bette’s.

Tina: One more thing, next time you stick your tongue out at me Bette, I’m going to take that as an invitation to suck on your juicy lips. Do you understand hot stuff?

Bette: Are you flirting with me Tina?

Tina: Maybe. You like?

Bette: I like.

Tina: And what is it that you… like?

Bette: For the inevitable kiss between us.

Tina: Is that right?

Bette smiled a sweet smile as she wait for Tina to close the small gap that is separating their lips from one another. So close, yet so far.

Felicia: Ahem. Excuse me.

The beautiful woman submits before gently tapping on the blonde’s shoulder.

Tina: Do not disturb. Busy.

Felicia: How busy?

Tina turns to see a familiar face, immediately bursting up from Bette’s temporarily paralyzed legs to wrap her arms around the beautiful lady.

Tina: Oh my goodness, Felicia!

Felicia: Hope I’m not interrupting anything.

Tina: Of course not. What are you doing here?

Felicia: I went to see you, but Tom said you went on a vaca. So I said what the heck Hawaii here I come.

Tina: Why didn’t you call me?

Felicia: I wanted to surprise you.

Tina pulls Felicia in for another hug.

Tina: I’m so happy to see you here.

Felicia: I told you; I will always find you, Tik.

Bette had enough of the peep-show. She catapulted from her seat causing her to bump into Tina who apparently has forgotten that she was there.

Tina: Oh, Bette. I’m sorry.

Bette didn’t understand why but the sight of this mysterious woman holding, touching Tina bothered her.

Bette: No problem. Are you going to introduce me to your friend here?

Curious eyes stared at the unsettling brunette. Tina wondered where this attitude was rooting from.

Tina: Sorry. Felicia, this is Bette, um, my new friend. Bette this is Felicia, my dearest oldest friend.

Bette reached out to greet the beautiful woman, but a smirk was the returned gesture.

Felicia: Sorry, Beth, you never know what people are carrying these days. So, I try not to shake hands unless necessary. I hope you understand.

Bette: It’s not Beth, it’s Bette,

Felicia: Sorry, this music is so loud, I could barely hear you.

Bette: It is necessary. It’s common courtesy.

Bette grabs Felicia’s unwilling hand and shakes it like a martini.

Tina: Bette. Bette. Stop it. And Felicia that was uncalled for.

Felicia smiles and pulls Tina away from Bette.

Felicia: Awe, Tik. I was just kidding with Betty here. Forgive me, please pretty please with Tik on the side?

Tina cracks a smile at her friend.

Tina: Don’t try that cute stuff on me missy, it’s not going to work, and you should apologize to Bette not me.

Felicia: I would but she’s gone.

Tina spins around to see Bette walking away.

Felicia: Do you want to go after her?

Tina: Oh yeah I most certainly will….
