    The Planet

     

    The next morning Tina and Alice were up early to see the reviews for the film. Instead what they saw were pictures of Jodi Foster and her mystery date at the premier of Lez girls.

     

    There were also pictures of Jodi and Bette on the beach earlier in the week and with them was a child.  A child that was obviously Bette Porter’s

     

    Kit:  Tina, girl I didn’t expect to see you up so early this morning after your big night.

     

    Tina:  Kit, did you know?

     

    Kit looks at Tina confused.  Know what, Tina?

     

    Tina slides the paper over to Kit so she can see the pictures of Jodie Foster and Bette and the child.

     

    Kit:  Holy Shit!!  Tina I had no idea!  I have not spoken to Bette in almost as long as you guys have.  There were a couple of times after she left that she phoned but we just fought and she quit calling.  Do you think this child is hers?

     

    Tina:  Come on Kit look at him.  He looks just like Bette.  How old do you think he is?

     

    Kit:  I’m sorry Tina I had no idea.

     

    Alice:  Okay, I have phoned everyone I can think of and they are going to get the low down on Jodie and her mystery date and where she might be staying.  I’ll find out what I can Tina.

     

    Shane walks into the planet.

     

    Alice:  Shane, over here!

     

    Shane:  Alice, this place is not that big and I can see just fine.  Tina, what’s the matter?

     

    Alice:  Obviously you haven’t seen today’s papers.  Look!

     

    Shane looked at the paper and the pictures and just shrugged her shoulders.

     

    Alice:  That’s it!  A shrug of the shoulders!  That’s Porter with Jodie Foster and she has a kid Shane!  Our nephew from the looks of it and all you can do is shrug your shoulders!

     

    Shane:  Alice, is there anything that I can do about it? NO!  You know when all that shit went down with Bette none of us were very nice to her and we took sides so why in the hell do you think that she would want us to be involved with anything that concerned her anymore!  I got to go!

     

    With that Shane walked out!

     

    Tina:  you know Alice, Shane is right after the affair everyone took sides.  I just wish I could have spoken to her last night.  Just to see how she was.

     

    Alice: TK, don’t worry I will find her for you and maybe get you that chance.

    7. Jody Foster of all people, and they are not romantically involved from the conversation they had before they attended the premiere. So this is Bette’s child alone. This is a very interesting story. PPS
