Have you ever looked in a mirror and thought you can’t identify the person that is starring back at you? I can tell from experience that it is a scary moment when you discover that you have changed. But in my case it was only a moment of fear until I recognized that this change was for the better. I felt more relaxed, more at ease with myself and I saw the world from a different angle.

Lets start at this particular moment. The moment I stood in front of this mirror, looking at myself, realizing that I have changed my life without any intention. It simply just happened. And all I can do is smile to myself when I think about the last few weeks. In these few weeks I met the love of my life and it was not a person I expected. It was a woman.

Now I am standing here, smiling and I feel that a pair of hands snake around my waist and a chin rests on my shoulder. I can smell the now familiar scent and can’t help but smile even wider.

    ‘Hey sleepyhead’

‘Good morning to you too’ she says and gives me a kiss on my neck

    ‘Have you slept well?’

‘Hmm…not that we slept that much but yeah, I did.’

Although I can’t see her face I feel that she is smiling. I turn around in her arms and kiss her tenderly. We stop after some minutes and she smiles at me.

‘I really like waking up with you by my side. But when I opened my eyes you were gone. I have to admit I was a bit scared that you left.’

‘Why should I? Last night was amazing…like all the other nights before.’

‘Yeah but that don’t explain why you were not by my side when I woke up.’

‘I had to use the bathroom and before I knew it I was wrapped up in my thoughts.’

    ‘Wanna share?’

I know that she is curious and at the same time attentive. But I’m not sure how to tell her what I been thinking without offending her. I know that she is fast in jumping to conclusions.

    ‘Not much to share’

    1. Hey there! I think this is short, but really sweet. No need to make things heavy, this stuff just warmed my heart. Your Tina is just so genuinely happy and she’s so really cute. I would say – extend this to a fanfic, but don’t. If you would, this would lose it’s magic. It’s a real fun one-off with a good ending. No drama, just love. And that’s a good change for once. I absolutely loved it and I wish you strength with the story you’re writing. You go, girl!

    2. That was very lovely and to the point. I came back and read this after reading the final letter. Always love Tina when she is being warm, loving, and understanding and just do damned cute. She is a very beautiful young lady.
