3, 2, 1…Action!

“Hi,” Tina said approaching James, “I’m…”

“Tina Kennard.”

“Yes, I have an audition with…”

“Bette Porter.”

“Right again.  Are you going to keep finishing my…?”

“Sentences?”

“Haha!  Yeah.”

“Sorry, it’s just a nervous habit.”

“It’s okay—it’s a cute, nervous habit.”

James instantly relaxed around the beautiful movie star, and he silently hoped she would get the part.

“Thanks.  Come on; let’s get your audition started.”

As James was leading Tina down the hall to meet Bette, he had no clue he was assisting fate by bringing these two women face to face for the first time. 

Chapter 3

The chatter in the casting room stopped as soon as the beautiful blonde actress walked in.  Everyone was momentarily struck with silence when Tina stepped into the room.  The silence was starting to wear on Tina’s already rocky resolve, and her genuine smile was fading into a nervous grin.  Alice being Alice quickly broke the silence.

“Hi, Tina, it’s great to see you again.  You look as great as me, which is hard to do, so congratulations,” she said approaching Tina for a hug,

“Well thanks, Alice.  I take that as a tremendous compliment.  It’s good to see you too,” Tina said laughing as she gave Alice a hug. 

“Well, let me…”

“Is Tina ‘I’m fucking thirty minutes Late’ Kennard here yet?” Bette said barreling into the room and came to an abrupt halt when she saw Tina standing there with a smirk on her face. 

“Well, actually it’s ‘Miss fucking twenty-seven minutes late Kennard’ to you, and yes she’s here.”

“Ahh,” Bette was speechless about seeing the stunning actress in person but quickly rebounded, just as Tina had done when she saw Bette enter, “well now that you’re here ‘Miss THIRTY Minutes Late Kennard’ let’s get this rolling.  Oh and I’m…”

“Bette ‘Extremely Hot’ Porter and I can’t wait to get this audition with you started,” Tina said to herself as Bette properly introduced herself. 

“Earth to Tina,” Alice said cheerfully.

“What?  Oh I’m sorry.  What were you saying?”

“Actually I was introducing everyone else to you.  This is Kit Porter, the director.”

“Nice to meet you, girl.  I’m a big fan,” Kit said shaking Tina’s hand.

“Oh, not as big a fan as I am of you.  It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Well, thank you, girl.”

“And you know Alice.”

“Of course, who doesn’t?”

“You’re correct there.  So, you two ready to start this thing and begin making out?” Alice said taking a dig at the obvious sexual tension between the two gorgeous women.

Kit, laughing at the blushing women, said “Let’s begin shall we?”
