The Beginning of Bette and Tina—Chapter 2

James led Tina closer to where they were filming—closer to Bette.  She found herself nervous, scared to find out what would happen if she looked into her eyes, but before she had the chance to wonder…Bette looked over and their eyes met.  In that instant, lighting struck and stars aligned because Bette and Tina had finally found each other. 

Finding your soul mate is only the beginning because there’s still the journey of falling in love and making a life together.

Chapter 2

            Time stood still as Tina and Bette stared into each others eyes, looking deep into the soul of the other.  A smile had formed on each woman’s face because they knew they had found the person that completed them. 

            Everyone in the room stood frozen as they watched these two women fall instantly in love.  They felt the force that was pulling Tina and Bette towards each other.  Suddenly, James was pulled from the trance and realized that everyone was staring at Tina and Bette as they shared this moment.

            “Um, Bette,” he said stepping closer to her and leading Tina along with him—although it took him a few times to get Tina to move her legs, “this is Tina Kennard.  Tina, this is Bette Porter.”

            Bette used all her strength to pull herself up to stand in front of Tina, and to finally speak to the beautiful blonde woman that had just captured her heart.

            “Hi,” she said softly, extending her hand out, anticipating the contact, “it’s nice to meet you, Ms. Kennard.

            Tina blushed at just the sound of her name coming from Bette’s mouth.  She couldn’t imagine what would happen when she reached out and touched her hand.

            “It’s nice to meet you too, Ms. Porter, and please, call me Tina,” she said as her hand reached out to take Bette’s.

            The instant their hands met, electricity shot through their bodies and time stood still again.  They both looked down at their hands, amazed at what a single touch could do, and both wondered what would happen if they could touch each other all over.  Their eyes found each other again, and the polite greeting of a handshake had practically turned into seducing each other because they had both absentmindedly begun to rub the back of the other’s hand with their thumb.  Both women’s face blushed as they became flustered with the little interaction.
