Tina: “Ill call Madge up and tell her, were joining them for dinner”
Bette: “Ok…..I think, Ill call Lara up to hear whats new…”
Tina: “BETTE………I thought you werent going to work, until you get the clear from the doctor on Monday”
Bette: “Sorry baby…..but I need to get on speed with our cases”
Tina: “BETTE…”
Bette: “I know, but…..”
Tina: “Baby, there is no but………remember to take care of yourself”
Bette: “Tina please…..Im going back to work on Monday…….the doctor will give me the ok to go to work again”
Tina: “Just promise me youll take care of yourself babe”
Bette: “I promise, Tee”
Tina smiled at Bette and kissed her before going back in to call Madge up.
Bette and Tina spent the day enjoing each others company, talking, kissing and exploring each other.

Chapter 29
Bette and Tina were standing outside Madge and Peters house. Bette was looking very nervous and Tina could see it. She took Bettes hand in hers and rang the doorbell.
The door opened and inside was Madge, with a big smile on her face.
Madge: “Hey Tina”, while giving Tina a hug. “You must be Bette”, while shaking Bettes hand. “…..come in…come in”
Bette: “Thank you………its very nice to meet you”
Madge: “Peter, Charlot………….look who is here”
Charlot came running through the house and found Bette and Tina out in the hall, taking off their coats.
Charlot: (smiling) “mommy…mommy”, while running towards Tina, giving her a big hug and kisses.
Tina: “Hey sweety………….look who is here”
Charlot: “Bette………..youre here”
Bette: “Hey Charlot”
Charlot ran over to Bette and she scooped Charlot up in her arms and hugged each other.
Charlot: “Bette, I made some new drawings for you………do you want to see them?”
Bette: “Sure………..you lead the way”
Charlot and Bette walked towards the livingroom, just as Peter came around the corner.
Charlot: “Grandpar………….this is Bette”
Peter: “It is very nice to met you, Bette………….Im Peter”
Bette: “Pleasor to meet you, Peter”
Peter: “Im glad you two could join us for dinner………..Charlot talks about you all the time……so it is very nice to put a face to the name…”

Welcome back Troole, boy have I missed this story. Bette is suppose to be on desk duty, and assuming that both she and Lara are okay, her police career is OVER. Tina is not going to let this go (or should she), Bette has become too much apart of her and Charollet’s life for her to risk her own life. In addition, Kit and her father will chime in on Tina’s side. Not only that , officially Bette should be repremanded by her superiors for leaving the squardroom and going into the field when she was officially on Desk Duty. Bette is really in a loose, loose ,loose situation her. And yes Trolle, you are WRONG for comming back with a cliffhanger after leaving us for sooooo long :o)
