Chapter 7 – Reconnecting, but not in a good way.
Bette was in shock. Not even four months had passed since she and Kit had put Melvin in the ground and now Kit was struck down with the same affliction.
Kit, who she had just started to reconnect with, Kit, her only sister.
Bette felt alone, completely and utterly alone.
Alice breezed through the doors just in time to see Bette collapse on a chair outside of Kit’s room.
“Hey, heyI’m here,” Alice said moving quickly to take Bette into her arms.
“Oh Alice, I can’t go through this again,” cried Bette, “and it’s Kit for ***** sake!”
“It’ll be okay,” Alice spoke hopefully and then looked around puzzled when she noticed that no one else was there to keep Bette company.
“Um, Bette, where is everyone? Where’s Tina? Is she with Kit?” she asked.
“No,” sniffed Bette, “the nurse is in with Kit at the moment preparing her for a biopsy, and I only called you. Kit didn’t want anyone else around for the moment.”
“Okay,” said Alice again and then continued, “So where’s Tina?”
“I have no idea,” Bette said more calmly, “I’ve been calling her cell all afternoon but with no luck.”
“Oh God!” Alice exclaimed, “Do you think she’s okay? What about Angelica?”
“I’m sure she’s fine Alice,” Bette spoke coldly and Alice frowned a little at her tone.
“In fact, here they are now,” Bette said watching Tina and Angelica rushing through the doors.
“Are you okay?” Tina asked Bette directly while Alice whisked Angelica from her arms.
Bette didn’t respond instead she grabbed Tina by the arm roughly and pulled her aside.
“Where were you?” she asked in a hushed tone.
“I was at Henry’s,” Tina answered honestly with a fixed gaze on Bette. Bette sighed and returned Tina’s gaze. They stood like this silently for a moment, and it felt to Tina that Bette could see Tina’s earlier humiliation over her mistake with Henry.
She blushed embarrassingly at the thought.
“We’ll talk about this later,” Bette said before going over to Alice and taking Angelica from her arms and holding her tight.
“Kit needs us now and that’s the only thing that matters.

*Standing up and clapping* You go Bette. Its about time she stood up for herself and lived. I am telling you season two was like Bette couldn’t get a break. It was a long rough road she travelled and I think if Tina is gonna treat her like that in season three then Bette had better have a scene where is she stands up to all the BS going on for her. Great writing. I know the story line is hard for everyone, but I think crushonlu should keep on going.
THAT’S RIGHT!!! bette show her what you want and what she is gonna miss. and why is angry sex the best??? C this story is so raw and deep and I’m lovin every step along the way.

It’s time that Bette stood up for herself. That’s the person that Tina fell in love with in the first place.
Good job. You tell her Bette. Yes, Bette made a mistake, and she’s apologized for it, eaten humble pie for it, and gone about as low as you can go. All the while Tina was like, I can do no wrong and I deserve all I can get for what Bette did. But it take two to mess up a relationship, and two to fix it. If Tina really wants to be with Bette, then I think its time she start proving to Bette that she’s worthy of Bette’s love versus Bette doing all the work. As far as the spoilers go, I’ve only glanced at some of it, most of which I did not like. Hopefully they are not what were are going to be experiencing next season. Already seems like to much drama and things that are a bit unreal, hopefully they know enough to get back to what brought us all on board in the first place.
i never thought that i could say something like that but i will GOOD FOR YOU BETTE..she said right if Tina cant be with her and only her someone will love to..im here Bette..lol..BUT i hope after that Tina wake up and realize that no man or no other woman could love her like Bette..sad chapter
I believe the roles are reversed now Will Bette ever be able to Trust Tina again. Tina wanted a open relationship. I believe she will be the one that is going to get hurt. Go for it Bette. sees who will weep and moan in the end. thanks

all i have to say . is that IC and TPTB really need to read your work and the work of others at fanfic and take a good hard look at their sinking show and incorporate the talent and storylines that are so wonderfully represented on fanfic!
“Are you okay?” Tina is kidding me right? I can get with her trying to find something for herself that she feels she is missing but I can’t get with her punishing Bette this way, that’s just cruel and maybe she doesn’t feel like she’s hurting Bette but damn to expect your spouse with whom you have a child to stick around while you fuck other people. Na Bette should not play that game….I hope to god you have Bette leave her ass….
