Chapter 6 – Stark realisations
Bette left a frustrated and worried Tina at home as she rushed to the hospital.
“Call me as soon as you get there and know something okay?” she called out to Bette as she was leaving.
Bette had an uneasy feeling as she walked through the doors of the hospital and located Kit’s room.
“Don’t freak baby sis, but I have to spend the night at the hospital” Kit had said down the ‘phone.
“What’s wrong?!” Bette asked trying to control the panic that was attempting to take over her voice.
“Oh I just fainted today at work, and I’ve been a little tired, but they’re running some tests just now and everything seems to be okay.” Kit continued.
“Why didn’t you tell me you weren’t feeling well? I’m on my way.” Bette said feeling a slight wave of relief wash over her.
Once inside Kit’s room the sight that met her surprised her. Kit looked fine and was talking to a man in a white coat with an unusually piercing stare. Kit smiled warmly as she saw her sister enter the room.
“Hey baby girl! I was just talking to the doctor here and they think that everything is alright,”
“Oh that’s great, so when can you go home?” Bette asked looking at both Kit and the doctor.
“While she was here we had her undergo a full body scan, once I see the results of that, I think I’ll discharge her tomorrow morning after a full nights rest.” The doctor said and then continued, “Just take it easy, and I’ll be back later with those results.”
Bette and Kit hugged warmly and Bette took a seat next to the bed. They sat in silence for a while, just looking at each other, both probably remembering the last time that they were in the very same hospital together.
That time, they had found out that it was the beginning of the end for their father.
Kit spoke suddenly trying to break the tension. “The doctor’s nice huh, the dude’s name is Dr Gawkinhow weird is that?” They both laughed at the revelation.
“I’m just gonna call Tina and let her know okay? I’ll be right back,” Bette said and she walked quickly to the front of the hospital.

WOW!!! What a great update! Good thing Tina stopped things with Henry before it went any further. And poor Kit!
Dude you had me really pissed at Tina there for a minute. I just could not believe she took Angie out of their home when Bette was at the hospital so she could get some and as a matter of fact I am still pissed at her even though she apparently came to her senses what a skanky thing to do….tsk tsk…

you know everyone have free will to be or stay or have sex with anybody..but in this case Tina is playing with Bettes heart.. if she dosent want to be with her fine but say to her and move on..play double is not nice and take Angie with her?? awful..and now Kit is sick ok Bette i will lend my 9mm for you it seems you will need it..lol..kidding..
Hmmm, what to say about this chapter. I have to say it felt like I got hit by an oncoming freight train when Tina went to Henry to fulfill her sexual desire after telling Bette he meant nothing. If Tina wants an “open” relationship then she should have the “balls” to tell Bette the truth when Bette asks. If Henry really meant nothing more than a potential fuck then she should of at least told Bette that. Okay, I”m done rambling now and I feel so much better. For some reason this story really gets me going….in a good way I think. :-)
wow, ok, so this tina has a conscious…even if she is not listening to it..it’s looking like henry was actually a good thing in that it’s showing tina that where she should really be putting in the effort….at home not elsewhere…Bette has to lay into her for this behaviour though, she knew about kit and that was totally thoughtless to not be available for bette….hmmm….more more more more..please…This story has a person thinking on so many different levels…great on you!!!!
I have no ideal what is in Tina mind. What is she thinking taking the baby with her If you are going out to get fuck get a baby sitter. I tellg you girl. Bette bag are still pack. and Kit will need Bette now more than ever. So let Tina tell her to go that she doesnt want her anymore. Bette can stay at Kits for awhile. It seens that the light is on upstairs but Tina is not there. thanks
I’m glad Tina got sick. She needed something like to wake her up. Of course only a man can make a woman want to throw up and burn her lips off.. Now she has to go be beside her family in this time of need.
OK, now is Tina losing her mind or what? What is she thinking, A MAN, for gosh sakes, is she crazy? Hopefully, that will never happen again and she will talk with Bette. Post again, pleasssseeeee.

Poor Bette now having to deal with kits cancer, and had to leave that last message on her wife’s cell when she should at least called to check in.
Tina what was she thinking. It’s one thing to go to a strangers place for a quick fuck but to subject your child to that is terible even if Angie was sleeping. I am glad she stopped what she was doing with Henry, I was getting an upset stomach my self.lol. Bette is going to freak if she finds out about this thing with Henry. WTH!!! Tina is beyond skanky! I’m going to have a hard time with her getting off so easy with THAT stupid move! I’m hoping for someone more deserving of Bette at the moment, but I’m a hopeless B & T fan so I’ll try to remain optimistic. Still, I’m pissed at Tina! Walking back into Henry’s living room she avoided his gaze while retrieving her now sleeping child and attempting to make a hasty exit.
“I’m sorry Henry, I made a terrible mistake…I shouldn’t have come here, I only hope you can forgive me for coming on to you like that.”
