Bette called Tina, but no answer. Then she tried her cell and still no answer. “Lara, have you spoken to Frank or Dennis over the last couple of hours?”, Bette asked. “NO….not since lunch”, Lara answered.
Bette called Dennis, but no answer. Just voicemail. Then she tried Frank and it was the same.
Bette: “I think something is wrong…….neighter Frank or Dennis is answering. Lara, lets go”
Bette and Lara drove to Tinas appartment. On the way Bette called in for a patrolcar to join them. They finally arrived. Went up to the apartment and into the hall. The first sight that met them was Frank and Dennis laying on the floor in a pile of blood.

Chapter 21
Bette went over to check for a pulse on Frank and Lara did the same for Dennins.
Frank was not breathing, so Bettet startet c.p.r and Lara calle it in, asking for backup and an ambulance to hurry up. Dennis was still alive, but unconscious.
Two officers from a pratrol car came up into the hall and joined Bette and Lara. Bette looked at Lara, very nervously. “Youre not going in, Bette……..wait until backup comes”, Lara said. “Im not standing around here doing nothing…..just cover me”, Bette said.
Lara: “Bette………Bette, just wait up for minute…..what the ***** are we going to do?”
Just then the elevator door opened up and out came Maria with Charlot.
Maria: “OMG…..what is this…?” (covering Charlots eyes)
Bette: “Maria……have you spoken to Tina for the past couple of hours?”
Maria: “Not since lunch……before she met up with you at the gallery……what is going on here, Bette?”
Bette: “I dont know……but Im about to find out…….Lara are you ready?”
Lara: “Year………lets go…”
Bette slowly opened the door to the appartment. There were voices comming from the far end of the appartment, where Tinas bedroom was. Bette signalet for Lara to go into the livingroom and cover her incase someone came out. Bette was now standing close to the bedroom. There was no sign of persons hearing them comming in.
The door to Tinas bedroom was closed, but Bette could hear 2 voices inside. And one of them was Tinas. The other one sounded like Candace Juwel, but she wasnt sure.

Candance has been a pain in the butt Forever. Why does all the ladies that does like Bette put her down sexually? great Lara was smart to put Tina in Bettes home.. thanks

Great update, I love that Tina and her daughter are staying with Bette. I do believe that it’s Melvin at the door, and if it is he had better be on his best behavior. Knowing that his daughter is hurt and could have died may change his perpective. I would love to see his reaction after he meets Charolette. She is such a charmer and even Melvin can’t resist her. Please post again soon.

I love the intensity that your bringing in the story, and adding another dimension to it, with Charlotte. So, bring on the next chapter!
