    b and T discuss having a baby.

    6 months prior to Season 1…

    As Bette and Tina lie in bed reading, Tina seems to be somewhere else….contemplating…

    Tina: “Babe…”

    Bette: “Yeah..”

    Tina: “There’s something I’ve been wanting to talk to you about…”

    Bette: (worried)”Is everything O.K., T?”

    Tina: “Oh yeah, eveything’s fine….I just wanted to talk to you about something.”

    Bette: “You scared me, you never start a conversation like that unless it’s serious..so what did you want to talk about?”

    Tina: “Well, I was thinking that… Well, first of all, you know I love you…”

    Bette: “I sure hope you do.” (flashing that sparkling smile)

    Tina: “…and you know I want to spend the rest of my life with you…”

    Bette: (impatient)”Tina! What is it?”

    Tina: “Well, I’d like to be a family with you.”

    Bette: “What do you mean? We are a family… I mean, we’ve lived together for almost 7 years, we share a joint bank account, we split the bills, the gang comes over every tuesday for poker night….we’re one big family. What else do you want?

    Tina: “No, I meant, I want to have a baby with you, as in, like, START a family.”

    Bette: (happy but shocked)”T, Oh my God! Are you serious?”

    Tina: “Well….yeah, I’ve always wanted to have a baby and now….with you, it just seems right. What are you thinking?

    Bette: (leaning in to kiss tina)”I am so in love with you. I would love for you to carry my child.”

    Bette then tenderly places a kiss on Tina’s lips. The two lover’s share a long, deep embrace before falling asleep in each other’s arms.
