Soulmates Chapter 3 Drama and Dilemmas

The scene opens with Maria and Joseph waiting to be called for their audition.
They are number 58. The scouts are on number 57.
Maria looked very nervous.
Hey MariaIts going to be ok.you will be great. Joseph said as she squeezed her hand.
I just dont want to mess up your chance. Maria said.
Number 58 A man called out.
Maria and Joseph looked at each. Maria thought she had stopped breathing for a minute.
Joseph patted her on the back.
We can do this Joseph said as he patted her on the back and guided her to the room.
May I have your papers please. The judge said.
He handed them a script to read from.
You have five minutes to read from this script. A lady added.
Time begins now. She stated as she set the timer.

Maria and Joseph read their lines from the script.
They laughed and made the facial expressions. They had fun trying out.
Then their time was up.

Thank you we will get back to you if we want you for the part. The lady responded as gentleman escorted them out of the building.

You do have our correct numbers right? Joseph inquired.
Yes we do. The lady commented.

.Tina was at the center talking with Shelly.
Here is the application that Oscar would like you to fill out. Tina replied as she handed the application to Shelly.

Thanks, may I borrow a pen? Shelly asked.
Sure here you go. If you would like you can fill it out in my office. Tina said as she pointed to her office.
Thanks Shelly said as she walked into the office and had a seat at a round table.
While Shelly was filling it out, she noticed some pictures of Kit and Maria on Tinas desk.
Tina entered the office to get something off her desk.
Tina.is this Maria and Kit? Shelly asked.
Yes, How do you know them? Tina inquired.
I have known Kit through the bar where I work. I met Maria at the bar too. Shelly responded.
Kit was drinking?? Tina asked.
No, Just sometimes she will call us for things or we will call her. Shelly

Actually I was at Kits house the other day.When Maria was over there with her daughter and niece. Shelly replied
