“Hey little one..” Bette cooed and cuddled Angelica as Tina laid on the bed beside them, smiling. After one week of butterfingers with the pampers and milk bottles, Bette is finally getting a slight hang of it. As for Tina, she had been lying on bed, resting and holding Angelica every now and then. It had been a wonderful week, staying at home and spending time together as a family.

The rest of the family have been dropping by regularly to visit them. Everyone loves Angelica.

“Dana, can we talk?”

“What’s up, Alice? Of course we can talk”

“Well, I’m just wondering if we could still try and make it work out between us. You know.. I mean after all, we had sucha blasting time together.”

Dana looked at Alice for a second, then she said, “Alice, you’ve got to understand, I’m currently trying to work things out with Lara. It’s not gonna be possible for either side if I try to do so simultaneously. I really hope you do understand. I know, we had a great time together but we were great too, as best friends.”

Alice nodded her head and Dana went on, “Between me and you, based on our friendship, I would say we’ve rushed out a relationship

a little too hastily. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing but I guess, after awhile, we can’t catch up with everything that has been happening between us. The emotions, the differences which never existed as best friends have like, wow, suddenly loomed up.”

Dana touched Alice’s hands. “Al, you’ve been great. Really.”

Alice forced a smile and said “Well, I don’t know why, Dana. But I do like you a whole lot. I’m not sure how am I gonna deal with this right now. I guess I’ll probably have to sit down and think about it properly. I hope this hasn’t ruined our friendship in any way.”

Dana smiled and said, “Of course not.”

At this moment, Lara walked out of the kitchen of The Planet and saw Dana touching Alice’s hands. She stared in disbelief. Dana caught sight of Lara looking at them and quickly removed her hand that was on top of Alice.

“Lara…I..”

Before Dana could complete her sentence, Lara flew out of The Planet while Kit looked at Dana and Alice in bewilderment.

“What happened to my chef?” asked Kit.

Before she got any answer, Dana and Alice were out of The Planet, searching for Lara.

Marina was tidying her house, re-decorating it when Jenny knocked on her door.

Marina smiled and motioned Jenny to go in.

“Hi Jenny.”

“Hey, Marina. Looks like you’re busy. Anything I can do to help?”

Marina walked over to Jenny and her fingers ran down Jenny’s back and she whispered, “Yes Jenny, you can help.”

She kissed Jenny softly then harder on the lips while her hands explored Jenny’s body. They then kissed their way up the stairs, into Marina’s room and then Marina pushed Jenny gently on the bed. They started undressing each other and made passionate love to each other. Then they laid on bed and started to talk.

“Marina, what is going to happen to the debts you owed?”

“My ex-husband have cleared them up for me.”

“You mean, you broke up with that man?”

“Yes and Francesca too. I was in debt and money was very important to me.. until you came along, Jenny.”

Jenny looked up at Marina and kissed her chin.

“Then let me tell you what you’ve done to me. You have made me feel so complete. I have been thinking alot, feeling very disturbed by the flashbacks of my past. But since you came back, the flashbacks have toned down alot and I feel a whole lot happier now. And I want you to know that, Marina.”

They smiled at each other and Marina held Jenny tight in her arms.

Around evening, they got out of bed and Jenny helped Marina with tidying up the house. After which, Jenny made a simple dinner for the both of them. They spent the quiet night together at Marina’s place.

Carmen and Shane went to The Planet in the night. Carmen had to work as the DJ and so Shane just hung around by herself. She was feeling a little bored as she couldn’t find her usual bunch of fun loving friends. A couple of girls have attempted to hit on Shane but Shane fended them off politely. Carmen was busy spinning music and when she looked up, her eyes would be searching for Shane.

“Hey Shane, why are you alone?”

“Hi Kit. Well, Bette and Tina’s busy with Angelica. I don’t know where Dana and Alice went to. I bet Jenny’s at Marina’s.”

“Well well well, look whose here.”

Shane gestured to the entrance.
