The B Word ..Chapter 45 Brake lights

The scene starts out at the Malibu Mansion. Its late at night.

Tina rolls over and looks at the clock.Damn where is Bette its is 1:00 am.
Tina knows the party has been over for a while.

Just then she hears the door unlock and in walks Bette with some flowers.
Bette is trying to be quiet because she doesnt want to wake the baby or Tina.
Bette Tina whispers
T your up.I thought you were a sleepBette whispers as she sits on the bed next to Tina. She hands Tina the flowers.

Thanks Babe these are so pretty. Tina comments Where did you get them?
Bette laughs If I told you I would have to kill you.
Tina smells them and smiles. Bette leans in and kisses Tina.

There is something I need to tell you. Bette said.
Sure Babe what is it? Tina says sweetly
Bette gets up and changes her clothes into her pajamas.
Then she crawls into bed.

Tina I know we said we would be honest with each otherso I want to tell you where I was after the party. Bette starts to explain

You mean you went some where after the party? Tina says as she is getting a little anxious.

Tina remember me telling you about my first real girlfriend? Bette asks
Yes I do.her name was Suzanne.right she was older than you? Tina adds.
Right.well she was at the party tonight. Bette explains
Tina is staring at Bette worried about what she was going to say next.
Her and I went back to the house she is staying at ..Its only two house down.
Bette tells her
I went there because I hadnt seen Suzanne in a while and I wanted to try to forge a
new relationship with her. I went there to talk. Suzanne had helped me so much when we were together.I thought it would be nice if her and I could be friends. Bette explains My intensions was to go there just like I would be going to Alices place.

Tina grabs her pillow and hugs it..She is trying to listen to Bette but her jealous is trying to take over.
We had a glass of wine and we talkedWe kissed it was only once.Which I should never have done..Then I jumped up and thought to myself I love Suzanne because she is my first but I am in love with the love of my life you. I left Im so sorry Tina I should never have gone but please believe me my intensions where only to friends. I found out tonight that some people you just cant go back to being friends. Bette says

Tinais confused part of her wants to rant and rave about Bette going over.
The other part is so happy because Bette has been honest with her and she walked away.

T I understand if you are mad at me.Maybe I didnt do the right thing in the beginning
but Tina I love you and I dont ever want to lose you again. Bette says as she starts to cry.

Tina looks at her and says Come here Babe.
Tina and Bette hold each other tight. They each begin to cry.
They kiss and just keep holding each other..until the fell asleep.
Tina new Bette loved her.


The next morning.Everyone is in there rooms packing.
Eva and Sasha are making breakfast for everyone.
Wow they are going to be stuffed driving home Sasha says
We have waffles, toast, scrabbled eggs, grapefruit,What else should we put out?
Eva says as she is opening the refrigerator.

Dominic is helping Alana pack.
I really enjoyed staying here with you last night. Dominic says to Alana
Thanks I enjoyed it too Alana says
Do you mind if I drive you home today? Dominic asks her.
That would be very nice.I would love that. Alana says with a smile.

Shane says good bye to the girl who spent the night with her.
Hey do you know how to get back from here? Shane asks
Yes I do..I use to live in Malibu. The girl says
Here I will walk you out. Shane adds
No that is okyou need to pack.. The girl comments as she gives Shane a kiss goodbye.

Maria wakes up and sees Bryan sleeping next to her.
Oh no Maria! She thinks to herself

Hey Bryan.its time to get up. Maria says as she cuddles up to him
Oh five more minutes.. Bryan says without opening his eyes.
I want to stay right here with you forever.

Yes but Bryan I have to pack and get back to West Hollywood today. Maria explains
as she starts to tickle Bryan.

Ok sweetie Bryan gets up and calls his buddy using his high tech cell phone.
Hey Vinnecan you come and get me? Bryan asksYea Im at the Mansion in Malibu. Oh you guys are just down the street ok..I will hurry and Ill be out front waiting. Bryan says.

Vinnie is just down the street.So I have to run he is picking me up.
Bryan gives Maria a hug good by and a long kiss
He whispers in her ear it was worth the wait Bryan says as he leaves.

Everyone has packed there belongs and the Evas body guards have taken the luggage down and backed it into the SUVs.
The gang has just finished breakfast. Everyone is now at the front door saying there good byes to Sasha and Eva

Im flattered..Thanks again. Bette says

Kit, Maria, Bette, Tina, and the baby are riding in one SUV.
Alice, Dana, Jenny, and Carmen are riding in another SUV.

They are going down Pacific Coast Highway.
The sun is shining.
Wow it is so beautiful out! Bette comments as she has her arm around Tina and is enjoying the view of the ocean.

I know I would love to move here some day and live right on the water. Tina adds.
I know I would too ..We should just get a huge mansion and move here. Kit adds.

All of a sudden you hear cars slamming on their breaks.People screaming.
Then a loud crash.

There as been a bad accident here on Pacific Coast HighwayA woman screams into the cell phone..she gives the address..I think the SUVs have at least for people in each

Miss we have crews on their way. The dispatcher confirms.
The scene fades with the sound of sirens .
