    read ch 52 so this makes sense =P

    Tina got out of the shower and stared at her reflection in the mirror as she dried herself off. She had taken a hot shower hoping that the heat would alleviate some of her stress and worry. It helpeda little. Tina grabbed her robe and put it on tying the belt as she walked into the bedroom. Bette was sitting on the bed with her laptop open looking at some work stuff. Tina kind of rolled her eyes at her for a second before grabbing some clothes to go change in the bathroom. She got into her comfortable pajamas knowing that she would need them since she was probably about to have another huge fight with Bette. Things had been going so well and she knew it was too good to be true. Tina walked back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed diagonally across from Bette.

    Hey

    What?

    Tina gritted her teeth at Bettes response. It was one thing to have Bette mad at her and give her the cold shoulderit was another to have her be upset and snapping at her. Tina kept her cool and just plowed ahead in true Tina fashion.

    So if you took the job when would you leave?

    I am leaving in two weeksthis weekend is to sign a contract and get the details arranged.

    Bette hadnt even looked up once and Tina felt like taking that laptop and slamming it against the wall. She couldnt believe that Bette was being like this, especially since it appeared Bette hadnt even considered Tinas reaction to all this. Tina squared her shoulders and tried one more time.

    Bette what did you expect me to say? You get a job offer three thousand miles away and you expect me to just drop everything to go with you? Im sorry but I cant do that.

    I wasnt asking you to Tina. I was just telling you about it and maybe if we were going to New York together this weekend we could have discussed moving there together or however we needed to do things. But obviously you are going to stay here in LA so I dont know what else there is to talk about.

    3. I was really hoping for Bette and Tina to be able to work through their issues and discuss them together … not Bette just leaving Tina there. This is just too sad. Please continue with your amazing story and bring Bette and Tina together and talking with one another. I guess I just really prefer a happy ending even though that is not always the way life goes. *big sigh*……

    20. I am just sitting here staring at my laptop, repeating the word “wow”, over and over again. I am completely thrown by this ending…truly, I am sitting here shaking my head, flabergasted. I guess I am too much in my B&T romantic bubble, cause I just didn’t see this coming…not this way. I hope you decide to come back to this story sooner rather than later. Thanks!

    22. Bette is a trip. And I guess that is nothing new, as she has been a trip throughout this entire series. She has thrown fits, pouted, yelled. Maybe Tina just needs to let her go, I’m sorry to say.
      I hope you won’t leave this story like this.
      Perhaps you can come back to it some day and resolve it for the better.
      For right now, Bette is an ass and deserves to be alone.
