I wish i could remember you Chapter 3

    Out side the Trauma room:

Still trying to break free of the polices man grip, something in her heart told her to get to Bette and get away from this man. Suddenly with power she never knew she had, Tina pulled her fist back and punched him square in the jaw. He veered back with shock from the blow, and stumbled to the ground. Finally Tina realized she had just enough time to get away, she turned and ran into the Trauma room, leaving Alice to follow after.

    Inside the Trauma 1 Room:

Tina burst trough the door with deep fear in her heart. She let out a agonizing scream when she saw Bette. Maam your not suppose to be in here A nurse told Tina. But she brushed past her and went to Bette. She couldnt ignore the flat line, she cried and took hold of Bettes hand. Dont you dare leave me Bette , dont you dare! Tina screamed. Dr. Harris pulled out the chargers and said charge them to 90.She pressed the chargers to Bettes chest sending her body into a jerk but the flat line still remained. Bette I love you, you cant leave me, your everything to me Tina cried.

With any hope she had left, and with one last charge to her chest Tina herd the machines sound change. Dr. Harris stopped her compressions and read aloud Pulse is 60 over 80 , weak but getting semi stronger. Tina stopped and took a deep breath, when Alice came in. She had seen the hole exchange from outside the glass. OK guys lets get her to the O.R for surgery pronto. Dr. Harris and the trauma team began to wheel away, and were gone before Tina and Alice realized it. A nurse walked them out to the waiting room to wait to speak with the doctors.

    Waiting Room:

Alice had managed to call Shane, Kit, and Diana and told them what happened. She knew they would be coming soon. She turned slowly to look at Tina. She seemed to have shock plastered on her face with tears running down her cheeks. Oh hun she will be OK, Bettes a strong woman. Alice said gingerly to Tina. She reached over and gave her a soft hug. Tina still continued to cry saying I Dont understand why she didnt just listen to me, I still love her and Im caring our child and she doesnt know. God there was so much blood. Tina said as she put her face in her hands.

Only minutes later did Shane, Kit and Diana arrive. They all practically ran to Alice and Tina. Guys we got here as soon as possible Shane said as she gave Tina a hug and Diana and Kit did the same. Have you guys herd anything from the doctor Diana asked as she looked around the waiting room. Not finding a doctor in sight. Alice replied No, the nurse just told us to wait here. My baby sister will be fine T, she will not let something like this take her down. Kit smiled at Tina as they all sat down and did what anybody dose in the ERWait.

    Trauma 1 Room:

Dr. Harris walked into the room and slowly peeled of her gloves and gown that happened to be covered in blood. She sighed, wondering why things had to happen to people the way they do. Then she took out the films of Bette Porters Head CT as well as her Chest X-ray. She held the first one up to the light and found Bette had several broken ribs and some internal bleeding on the chest wall. Nothing the OR cant fix, she thought to her self. But Bettes Head CT was another story. She frowned. She leaned in closer to make sure she was correct, Bette had indeed stained major damage to the memory part of her brain. She knew the outcome of it Amnesia. For all she knew this could be a temporary thing or permanent. It all depended on what Bette remembered. But she knew for sure that there was indeed major memory loss.

Dr. Harris hated what she had to tell anyone who was waiting out there for Bette. She hated having to tell anyone that kind of news, yet she did it anyway. Thats why she took this field, to help save people who needed saving. I can do this she thought as she took a deep breath, and cut all emotional attachment. She walked towards the door and put on her best game face.
