(Outside the ward)

Bette reaches for the door handle.

(Footsteps approaching)

Alice: Bette??

Bette turns around. Alice, Dana and Shane walk towards her.

Alice: (shocked) Oh god! Dont tell me that youve been standing here all this while?

Bette: (nervous) Err I was just about to .

Dana scans her eyes at Bette from top to bottom. She then shakes her head.

Dana: No, this woman cannot be the Bette Porter we know. She doesnt even dare to enter a door??

Bette: (to Dana) (irritated) I know you all probably think Im a monster. You dont have to remind me how I am one.

Alice: (to Bette) Nobody thinks you are a monster, Bette. Nobody!

Shane: Guys, guys! This is not the time and definitely NOT the place to argue, alright? Remember your purpose here, please!

Shane reaches for the door handle.

(Inside Tinas ward)

Tina hears some commotion outside. She suddenly realizes Helena in front of her. She quickly pushes her away.

The door opens. We can see Shane walks in, follow by Alice and Dana.

Tina: Oh my god.

Tina covers her mouth with both hands. Tears in her eyes.

Alice: Tina! Is that really you?

Alice runs to Tina and hugs her.

Alice: (crying) Oh god, you really scare the ***** out of us.

Shane and Dana walks to Tinas bed. Helena looks lost at a corner. Tina moves her eyes to the door.

Shane: (smile) Thank god we found you. How are you?

Dana turns around. She looks left and right, seems to be searching for something.

Dana: Hey, wheres Ms Porter?

Tina gasps. She can feel her heart stops beating for a second. She releases herself from Alices hug.

Tina: (to Dana) You mean. shes here?

(Outside the ward)

Bette is crouching against the wall. Her head buries by her hands.

(Inside Tinas ward)

Tina tries to get out from the bed. Alice and Shane hold onto her.

Alice: (to Tina) What are you trying to do?

Tina: (crying) I need to see her….

Shane: I do not see that you are in a state to walk, Tina. Ill get her in, alright? Just stay, okay.

Tina swings her arms away from Alice and Shane. She limps towards the door.

Dana stares at Tina with her mouth open. She turns her head to Alice and Shane. Shane shakes her head and signs. Helena is still standing there, looking lost.

Alice: (whisper) Now you see how stubborn she can be at times.

Tina opens the door. She looks around. She finds Bette squatting at a short distance from her ward. Bette is still burying her head with her hands and did not notice Tina approaching her.

Tina walks up slowly to Bette, her hand supporting onto the wall as she moves.

Tina is now standing in front of Bette. Bette is still burying her head. Tina slowly knees down. She touches Bettes hair.
