Journey Of Love Ch.32
After herding their friends, and their luggage in to the renal cars, the gang set out for the trip back to the hotel. Kit and Shane rode with Bette while Dana and Alice piled in with Tina. After not seeing their friends for almost a week, both Bette and Tina were torn between being excited to spend some island time with their friends and wanting to be selfish and spend it alone. The further away they traveled from the airport, the more each woman wondered how the other was fairing, because right now their friends were just making driving impossible.
As they rode down the highway Kit was talking Bettes ear off, wanting to know all about her baby sisters trip so far, while Shane, well Shane was being Shane, soaking everything in quietly while day dreaming of all the cute island locals that she knew she was bound to meet. Bette began to roll her eyes as she drove, Kits questions were driving her looney, probably cause by a lack oxygen from answering so many questions in succession. She loved her sister dearly, but her constant questions were seriously starting to get to her. She glanced in the rear view mirror, as if trying to look to Shane for some help, but Shane was gazing out of the car, enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking her first glimpse of Hawaii in, so Bette knew she would be of no help right now. As Kit continued with her onslaught of questions, Bette rolled her eyes and turned back to the rear view mirror again, but this time she fixed her gaze on the car behind her and wondered if Tina was fairing any better with Dana and Alice ridding with her.
Tina was all but worn out driving her two friends around. Dana was sitting in the seat nest to her, babbling a mile a minute, almost incoherently talking about all the things she wanted to see and do and asking a million and one questions about how Tina and Bettes trip had been thus far. Dana was speaking so quickly, that she was barely giving Tina anytime to respond to her questions before she started on another one. And for as many times as her friends had tried to tell her over the years that crispay was not the appropriate word to say when spotting a hottie, that exact word constantly popped up in the middle of Danas ranting whenever she saw a cute local girlit was as if Dana was suffering from ADD. As if Dana wasnt bad enough, Alice was also spewing questions and comments at a mile a minute rate, not paying attention at all to the conversation that was already going on between Dana and Tina. She was climbing all over the back of the car, snapping pictures of the lush greenery as well as the numerous island cuties and island hotties that she saw along the way as if her life depended on it. Alice was climbing over the front seats, contorting her body to position herself by the back window and moving back and forth so much that instead of Danas occasionally out bust of crispay, Alices out bursts consisted of *****, owww, ***** as well as others as she was practically slipping on her drool that was caused by all the hot men and women alike, lord knows what was going to happen once these two hit the luau later than evening and worse yet the beach. With pleading eyes, as if to make Bette feel her pain, Tina gazed in front at the car that Bette was driving, as if to sayhelp.
Upon finally reaching the hotel, Bette and Tina practically jumped out of their cars, as if gasping for air. They ran into each others arms, hugging each other tightlyit was as if both women had suffered a near death experience, and just imagine, they had only driven a short while from the airport to the hotel. As much as they loved their friends, being contained in such a small place with their friends and being bombarded by those questions, only made them want to be alone together even more. They were half tempted to wave goodbye to their friends and make a mad dash for their hotel room. locking the door behind them, but opted instead for the other, more polite, albeit more painful option of staying with them instead, because truth be told, these women were not only their friends, but their family.
WOO HOO! Here I come!
Alice, who obviously was a bit more prepared that the others for her first day in Hawaii, took off running in the general direction of the beach, tearing off her top (to reveal a bikini) and making a mad dash toward the cool, blue waters of the Pacific. She was determined to make this trip an eventful one and the sooner she landed herself a hottie, the sooner she could bring new meaning to the term Maui Wowie!
Alice!
AL!
What the
*****! See I knew we should have sedated her!
Dumb ***** dodo bird lunatic!
The gang had not even gotten checked into their rooms yet, and with Alice taking off toward the beach, they wouldnt be able to since the rooms were under her name, since she had insisted on not troubling Bette and Tina with having to reserve more than one room.
Damn it!
Dropping the luggage at the feet of Kit and Shane who were laughing histerically at their friend, Bette, Tina and Dana took off running after Alice so that they could rope her in (probably wring her neck) and get the family checked in. Seeing their friends running wildly after the crazy loon Alice made Shane and Kit laugh even harder, causing tears to stream from their eyes, and their stomachs to cramp up in pain. Slippers (local term for flip flops) were flying everywhere as each of the three athletic ones tried to catch the dodo bird (as Bette had not so nicely called her seconds ago).
As she sprinted toward the beach, Alice caught a glimpse of her prize, two beautiful life guards were perched atop of the life guard stand, keeping the hotel beach safe. Coincidently there was one fine looking female and one fine looking male, right up Alices alley, with two options how could she lose? More determined than ever she kept heading toward the stand, hoping to build up enough distance between her and her friends so that she could slow to a walk, and give her sexiest, naughtiest and most seductive entrance in order to reel in her prey.
Hearing the commotion behind them, the two lifeguards turned around just in time to see a blonde lady get pounced on and trampled by three other women. Thinking it might be a mugging, they jumped off the stand and started heading toward the pile-up of female bodies, only to hear explicative terms being thrown left and right within the group. Realizing that this was nothing more than a group of friends messing around, they began to laugh (they tried not to, but couldnt help it) as they continued toward the women to try and sort out the commotion.
Aloha.
Aloha kakou (everyone). Is everything okay?
Hearing the voices of strangers, the quartet looked up to see the two lifeguards standing above them, trying hard not to laugh.
Ummmmmyeah everything is okay.
Yeah, everythings alright. Sorry about the fuss, she forgot to take her meds this morning.
Bette held her hand up to the side of her head and began to motion to the life guards that Alice was crazy, while Dana lifted her hands signaling that she was a drunk and Tina, well Tina continued to pin Alice down in case she began to run again. Alice was huffing and puffing beneath the pile, but managed to free her right arm, to which allowed her to then slowly raise her middle finger at her friends.
The lifeguards began laughing at the sight, told the ladies that everything was going to be fine and to just take Alice back to the hotel so that she could be cared for. Hearing the conversation going on above her, Alice wiggled her head free (and out of the sand) looked up at the two beauties that had caught her attention and began batting her eyes in an attempt to look cute and *****. Seeing this action made the life guards want to crack up even more, because unbeknownst to Alice, she had sand all over her face, and the hair products that she had used in the morning saw to it that her hair was now wildly sticking up in the air in a tousled mess, a result of the royal rumble that she had just endured.
The three women stood up, pulling Alice up along with them while keeping a firm hold on their friend. The kindly thanked both lifeguards for their concern and told them to keep up the good job. As they walked away with their prisoner they could here the local lifeguards laughing, at them no doubt, but it was Hawaii so no one was worried about anyone knowing them anyway and thought nothing of it.
What the ***** did you guys have to go and do that for?! Damn it I was so close to being able to land one of those two beauties! Now you guys made me look the part of an *****!
But you are an ***** Al.
***** you Bette!
No.I dont think soTina got that covered, dont you babe?
Damn skippy! Now Al, what the ***** where you thinking running off like that?
Maybe she was going to drown herself so that she could be saved.hahahaha.
***** you DanaI was not!
SureYou know that that was your planthat way you could lure them in to a kiss.
I was not going to do that!
Oh really?
Geez Al, keep telling yourself that and it might start to become believable, come on we know you too wellyah dirty bi-sexual!
As they made their way back towards Kit and Shane, the quartet kept flinging insults and sarcastic remarks at each other, adding to the already comical sight that everyone on the hotel grounds had witnessed. They picked up their bags as Tina scolded Alice and told her that she needed to behave or she would be grounded (such a motherly type dont you think?) for the rest of the day. Alice pouted, as she was made to help pick up the luggage so that the women could check in to their hotel rooms. None of the women had yet said a thing about Alices appearance, probably because they thought it was fit punishment for Alices antics.and that it served her right. They all stood back and tried their best not to laugh at their friend as she checked them in, all while flirting with the cute front desk clerk.
After checking in, Alice had the smile of a champion on her face because she was under the impression that she had flirted the clerk to the brink of an *****. They made their way through the hotel lobby, and were just about to pass a mirror on their way to the elevator when Bette turned to Alice with a wicked smile on her face
By the way Al.nice hair. Dont you think so Shane?
Yup, perfectI do especially like the sand grain highlights!
What?
Alice turned toward the mirror and her face changed from a proud flirt to one of horror.
***** you guys! Why didnt you tell me?!
All five women shrugged at their friend who was now ranting and raving at them as they boarded the elevator.
Im gonna get you guys back for this. Special occasion or not!
Oh Al, give it a rest, were on a relaxing Hawaiian vacation.
Rest, my *****.
Bette and Tina smiled and shook their heads, special occasion or not, this was sure to be one hellava trip, well at least until they made it past Maui and on to Kauai, where they would be alone again. And if the morning’s events were any indication of what was to comeit was going to be one wild ride!
