Alice had dragged Shane out of the bathroom, and sat down at the table, grinning from ear to ear. Dana glanced at the two, her eyes going wide. Ok, I do NOT want to know happened in there. Tina sighed, Dana, shut up, please. Lara smiled at Tina, thanks for telling her, I can never get her to shut up. She kissed Dana softly, but sometimes I can.

Many fans had taken a picture of the kiss. Dana blushed. Alice looked like she was about to burst, and Shane looked like she would rather be any place but there. I have great news! Alice squealed, bouncing up and down in her seat. Shanes moving in with me! Shane looked up, sighing. Al, it really isnt that big of a deal. Tina smiled. Thats great! I was expecting you to stay over for a few more days.

Well, you see, Im such a great friend! I love to help the people that I love. Alice smiled that goofy smile of hers. Shane couldnt help but smile. You know, that barely made any sense. Alice kept smiling. So do you want to head over to my house and work out the details? Shane quickly finished her coffee, and stood. Sure. Dana and Tina hugged her quickly. Hope things get better. Dana said softly, and then walked off to find Lara.

Ill wash your clothes, then drop them off later T. Shane told her. Oh no, dont worry about it. Shane smirked, really, I dont want the clothes. Tina laughed lightly, hugging Shane again. Remember, you can always come over. The two hugged for a few more seconds. Its so great to have friends like you.

As Alice and Shane walked out, suddenly Shane started laughing. I just realized how corny that sounded. And the award for slowest person goes to Alice paused, Shane McCutcheon. Shane got into Alices car. Pssh. Cant believe Im gonna move in with you.

If you werent moving in with me, then youd be living on Bette and Tinas couch. Well, where am I going to sleep at your house? Alice thought for a second, starting the car. The couch. But it pulls out! Shane stared at her. Yeah Right, whatever. Alice stopped at a red light, and looked back at Shane. If you dont want to move in, then its ok with me.

After thinking about her options, Shane just decided to sleep on Alices pull out couch. No, I want to move in. They were both quiet for the rest of the ride home. So, would I have to pay some of the rent? Alice parked the car, and opened the passenger for Shane, just like a chauffer. I was thinking, maybe after you got a job, or something, then you could start. For now, Im not gonna charge. They walked up to the front door.

You are a life saver, Al! Alice nodded to this comment. Yep, I know. Shane followed Alice in, and looked at the couch. Looks Comfortable. She sat, sighing. Alice had gone in the other room, and came out with a legal pad. Alrighty then. I have some rules.
Shane looked at her, an eyebrow raised. You already had rules written down?

Alice sat next to Shane. Im prepared. A good journalist is always prepared. Shane just scoffed, glancing at the rules. Alice looked at her notes. Rule number one, no loud music. Two, no more than seven girls a week. Shane cursed under her breath at the second rule. Three, you are going to have to cook dinner at least three times a week. Shane rolled her eyes.

Four, the bathroom is the private area. What happens in there, stays in there. Shane tried ignore the many dirty thoughts running through her mind. One comment came barreling out of her mouth. Looks like Alice has had one too many people barge in on her bathroom *****. The notebook proceeded to hit Shane in the back of the head.

The final rule is, you must pick up after yourself. Shane thought about this. Its a stretch, but I should be able to follow all of those rules. Alice smiled, thats great! She went in the other room, and brought out a clipboard with many papers on it, and a pen in the other hand.

Shane looked at her weird. Al, whats that? A contract. If you break any of the rules more then twice, or break more than two rules, then I have the legal rights to kick you out. Shane coughed. Its just temporary, you dont need to be so uptight. Alice sat across from her, sliding the clipboard over the coffee table. Remember Motel.

Ugh, you are so annoying! Shane said as she signed the contract. Is it ok if I move in my stuff tomorrow? Alice nodded. Shane stood up, handing the contract to her. Hey, I wanna wash Tinas clothes. Do you still have that outfit I left when the poker night was over here?

As Alice put the contract away, she looked for Shanes clothes. Here ya go. You can change in the bathroom, and just put Ts clothes in the wash. Shane smiled, and walked into the bathroom. Alice went back into the bedroom to file the contract. On her way back to the living room, she saw that Shane had left the door half open. She went to close it when she saw Shane in there.

Sure, shed seen Shane before, but now, she noticed something. After a little while, Alice noticed she was staring. With a shake of her head, she walked off. What was that about? She asked aloud, wondering why she suddenly felt something for her best friend.

What was what about? Shane asked, coming in from the other room. Alice quickly turned around. Oh, nothing, dont worry. Just thinking aloud. Shane smiled, and walked in the laundry room. Alice sat down, watching as her friend walked in the other room.
