“Who was that?” Dana asked groggily.

“Hmm? Oh, it was Tina, she just wanted to let me know she had stayed at Bettes last night, in I case I was worrying about her.” Alice placed her cell phone back on the nightstand, and rolled over to face Dana. “I think she was being nosy and just wanted to know how our date went though.”

“Alice!!! You told her?” Dana made a sarcastically pouty face “I thought we were gonna wait and.hold on, she stayed at Bettes?!” Alice grinned and nodded.

“Oh my God, thats great! I guess they are working things out. I wonder if they” Alice shook her head no, already knowing the question.

“Nah, she was a good girl, said she just SLEPT there. If thats true, she must have put up quite a fight, because I know Bette, and when Porter is horny” Alice stopped when she saw Danas brow wrinkle. “Well, whatever, unfortunately, Ive never been able to have as much self control as Tina.” Alice smiled seductively at Dana.

“Excuse me, did you say UNFORTUNATELY?” Dana gasped dramatically. She rolled over so that she was facing away from Dana, feigning anger. She felt a finger tracing a line down her back, then a light nip on her shoulder, followed by a light kiss. She couldnt help but let out a small giggle at Alices playfulness.

“My bad, I meant fortunately, definitely fortunately.” Alice spun Dana back around, climbing on top of her, pressing her naked body against Danas. “Well would you look at this, here goes my self controlagainfortunately.”

Later that day, Alice was climbing into her mini copper, a wistful Dana standing outside the car door. Alice grabbed Danas shirt pulling her down for one more long kiss.

“Ill call you later.” She blew Dana a kiss as she pulled out of the driveway. She couldnt subdue the grin that was plastered to her face as she drove back to her apartment complex. Man, she and Tina were gonna have some major story swapping to do. Just as she was parking her car in the lot, she saw Bettes Audi whir up to the building. Alice grinned, but quickly straightened out her face and stepped out of the car, striding over to the other women.

“Excuse me, Tina? You have a lot of explaining to do young lady. It is waaay past your curfew. If you want to live under MY roof, then you are going to have to follow MY rules.” She managed her best angry faced and wagged her finger at Tina, who was just staring at her with her arms crossed across her chest.

“Oh shut the ***** up Alice.” Tina laughed. “I could say the same to you.”

Alices serious face suddenly broke and she hopped excitedly before grabbing Tina into a hug.

“Im just playing with you, seriously, Im so happy you guys are working things out.” Alice leaned down and looked in the passenger side window of the car at Bette. “You best be treating my girl here well.” She teased. “I know where you live Porter.”

“I am Al, dont worry.” Bette smiled. “Babe, Ill call you later” she called out to Tina.

“Ok.” Alice and Tina answered in unison. Bette rolled her eyes and Tina shoved Alice playfully. They waved goodbye and headed towards the building. Tina linked her arm in Alices and smiled.

“Looks like you might have your apartment back to yourself sooner than expected.” She squeezed Alices arm.

“Nooo, I was just staring to like have a roommate!” Alice whined.

“Im sure Dana would be more than willing to take my place” Alice tossed Tina a look. “Well, you know, to be your room.MATE.” Tina winked.

A few hours later both Tina and Alice had recounted their evening and mornings, although Alice had refrained from disclosing some of the more explicit details. They both sat on Alices couch for a few moments in silence pondering the recent events.

“So, Al, when are you and Dana gonna make it official, you know, fill everyone else in on whats up?” Tina asked after some time.

“I was thinking maybe tomorrow night, go to Milk with the gang, and lay it out in the open. Wont stay hidden forever I guess.” Tina stifled her giggle.

“No I dont think it will.” Tina said, knowing full well it already hadnt. “But yea, that sounds like a good idea, I could use a night out. We havent hung out as a group since, well, in a long time.” Alice nodded.

“Everyone is gonna be so stoked about you and Bette. Weve all been rooting for you guys. But we knew you would figure your ***** out. *****, if you didnt the rest of us might as well give up on finding love.” Tina smiled, happy to know her friends cared so much. She was also excited for a night out, especially knowing it would be with Bette. Mmmmm, she could already picture dancing with her, holding her close. Hopefully, no more carpentry bills would pop up this time.
